Living in coastal SoCal my concern is the UV damage to the trailer during the 7 months of strong sunlight. We do not have concerns for strong winds or snow or torrential rain. . .only UV. The construction of this cover is '7 layers' on the top, and much lighter material (2 layers?) on the sides. The light weight sides do not pull heavily on the top and therefore will not pull, the eventually weaken by UV, 7-layer top causing tears on even rounded corners (e.g. A/C).

Put the cover on when the weather began to turn in the fall. Seemed nice and secure - I liked the buckle straps that go under the RV. The straps over the top were quite a bit of work to only be secured by bending a piece of aluminum to hook under your RV. Ours has a lip underneath, so these have come off with every mild gust of wind. The cover ripped at the place where the buckles attach to it, and ripped a long line along that side. We've re-secured half a dozen times and it just continues to rip and blow off. This is junk. I've had it on the RV for 6 weeks and it's worthless. The RV will now be exposed to the elements for the remainder of a Michigan winter.

It's a good fit on a 5x8 teardrop with a box or gear mounted at the front. There are straps across the front and rear to snug the fit perfectly to the trailer. The cover is somewhat loose fit on a 5x8 but I have a box in the front and when I pull the cover over that as well the cover is a perfect fit. The material feels strong and the tie straps underneath make it secure against wind. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far it looks good.

Change the review to be 3 stars because customer sever was so good. —————————————— Not sure if this is true for every cover or not or if I just got a lemon, but this covers been on my trailer for less than a month and it’s already tearing Seems to be a pretty good fit I fit my trailer really nice. I do have a toy hauler so it was a little short in the back where the garage door is at, but when I was installing it, I just felt like the side walls are very low quality and thin and sure enough after less than a month it’s already tearing
