Used it on my vacation. Traveled 1,300 miles one way and it was perfect. I've had back surgery this year and when my back started hurting from sitting in the seat, I'd jump in the back stretched out and would relax it. It held up to me bouncing back and forth from it to my seat. Plus some of the luggage would drop on it from sharp turns. I thought it would pop it but it didn't. After a week of being aired up it didn't loose any air at all. It's is truly the Portable air mattress that can fit the backseat or the back of the vehicle. You'll be amazed by the way this works. Plus it comes with a case for storage and the pump to air and deflate it, not to mention a patch kit if you poke a hole in it. But I only see that happening if you are careless. Best choice I think or it was for me and my husband. Look forward to many more trips with it. Oh and the headboard makes it more cute and protects you from bumping your head. We go camping every summer, and my back just isn't liking it anymore. I've found that sleeping in the SUV is better than the ground (even with an air mattress), but it's still not excellent. I got this to see if it would work better. Aired up, the mattress is about 6" thick, which is fine especially if you've got it on the seats. I LOVE that this came with the air pump with the car jack rather than a traditional plug. Setup was easy, and it even came with some "donut" spacers to put in the floor gaps between the seat and the front seats. It does what it's meant to do: provide a mattress for sleeping in the car. I like that it stores so nicely in its own bag, and that even the pump (which has its own storage bag) also fits in the bag. My pictures are of it in our 2013 GMC Yukon XL, and as you can see it's got plenty of "extra" room with the 2nd row seats folded out of the way. With the seats down, there's still plenty of room. And between the front and middle row, once again there's space. My son said he'd be nervous to sleep on it on the seat because he felt like he was falling off the edge, even with the supports below. We'll be keeping this in the emergency kit in my husband's Subaru because all around it's a much better fit there. ... show more

This arrived with holes and didn’t hold air for longer than 30 seconds. Really ruined our first camping trip and gave me back issues for the next week. Unfortunately we waited too long to test it so we can’t get a refund. Find a more quality product.

It's really easy to set up and doesn't loose air. I left it set up for 2 days and slept on it two nights straight and it had no loss of air. The little pump it comes with isn't powerful enough to blow it up solid/hard but it does the job.

I slept on this in my Subaru Outback with outside temps in the 50s. I have slept in my SUV with backpack mats and always found myself rolling off of them. This fits well with the side and headboard sections blown up also, to fit most of the area when the back seats are down. Because there is a slant from the seats to the back trunk, I had the mattress bottom near the front. I also laid down a blanket below the mattress and one on top before I laid down the sleeping bag. This helps with cold drafts. I found the mattress to be as firm as my bed mattress but can feel the division of the other sections. It was not enough to disturb my sleep. The only concern for me was the height left for maneuvering around when mattress and sleeping bag's height add up to a few inches below, almost right by the windows. The mattress is good for one adult and maybe a small child. I also tried putting this across the back seats, but the seats incline down so much that I would be stuck in only one cramped position(no straight legs possible unless sitting). I think with a different SUV, there would be more room. However, the pump works great for both inflating and deflating the mattress sections in a few minutes. ... show more
