  • happy w my selection...
Color: Gunmetal-2pc Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
i purchsd the 1.50 & they r excellent... minimalist super lightweight stylish perfection. my 1st premium readers r well worth a very few xtra $. i believe u'll quickly agree as well. (1) the slender hardcase sleeve is brilliant too as it allows u to safely & efficiently transport the readers in a pant/shirt pocket w/o the bulkiness or worry of the readers falling out of those soft open-ended cases. (2) since i use my readers pretty much all day to see 2ft & in, i added a sleep mask elastic band to the temples. when i'm not using my readers, i raise them inches abv my eyes so when i need em next, they r ready to go. (3) i've had em almost 3months & guess what... no scratches. also, all of my old readers disassemble themselves (screw backs out) & fall apart or get crooked over time from regular use. i dont see that being a concern w these SKYOAKs (aka elite quality materials & craftsmanship). if this does occur, i'll update my review to reflect my experience. but as it stands now, i am very satisfied w this purch. tbh, ur search for ur next pair of readers need not go any further. sure, do ur due diligence, however, i have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending these SKYOAK READERS w their SLENDER HARDCASE SLEEVE. ... show more

  • Easy to use
Color: Gunmetal Magnification Strength: 1.5 x
Nice and compact, though avoiding fingerprints on the lens is tricky but doable. Glasses and case are handy less noticeable than hanging off a shirt (can’t drop and break or lose them either)

  • Perfect pocket size readers.
Color: Gunmetal Magnification Strength: 2.0 x
Perfect pocket eyewear! I bought a pair of these a few years ago and wore them everywhere on my travels. Love them so much now I bought a back up pair. The clever design allows you to pop them out of their slim case with one motion of your thumb and they slide back in just as easily. Lightweight and does not take up much room. Plus they have UV and blue light blocking. Bonus! ... show more

  • Nice travel backup.
Color: Black Magnification Strength: 1.75 x
This works very nicely, fits well in my coat pocket, and easy to remove compared to other types I have. It will hold up in the back pocket of jeans, but I wouldn't keep it there unless necessary as bending is still possible. My only issue is the housing is hard plastic, so it sounds and feels a little cheap. Kind of like what one would hear and feel if it were 3D printed. ... show more

  • Best pocket size glasses and case that is very durable.
Color: Gunmetal Magnification Strength: 2.0 x
These glasses and case are the best ones I have found yet that I can easily carry in my pocket while being protected. The glasses are lightweight and pops out of the case when needed. It folds very well which makes it very easy to use.

  • Perfect nighttime readers
Color: Blue Magnification Strength: 2.5 x
These reading glasses have been a godsend for reading in bed before I go to sleep. I recently had cataract surgery and opted for new lenses for distance so I still need a reader. These glasses are so lightweight and easy to put on and take off that I hardly know I am wearing them. They fold up and fit neatly in a small hard case so they are convenient for taking anywhere. They seem fragile, but I have rolled over on them without a problem. If you need some easy to use readers, these are a great deal! ... show more

  • Good case; lenses have annoying yellowish tint
Color: Gunmetal Magnification Strength: 2.0 x
EDIT after 1 year of ownership: I am knocking off one star because these glasses do not like to sit securely on your head. Bend over, lean over, they start sliding off. The arms are totally straight, without curvature at the ends to sit more securely behind your ears. The more I wear them, the less I like them. I was hoping they would be ideal for travel given the small case size, but alas for an upcoming three-month trip to India and Thailand, I will carry them only as back-up glasses. ORIGINAL: I have mixed feelings about these glasses. On the plus side, the case is brilliant – that’s why I bought these glasses. The case has proven durable in 10 months of use, kept in my left back pocket whenever I’m out of the house. An aside -- I would STRONGLY recommend that reading glasses merchants rethink the cases they supply, because most of them are dreadful. The two-piece cases bend when in a pocket, and the horizontal flip-top cases bend, too. A vertical flip-top case is the perfect design for a reading glasses case, but virtually no manufacturer offers such a case. There’s one out there (brand called Covesato) that is way too thick to store comfortably in a rear pocket, because the glasses are needlessly large. Oh, and you can find vertical flip-top cases of appropriate width and depth for foldable glasses… but I don’t like foldable glasses, not at all. Alas, I did have a perfect case – vertical flip top for standard size reading glasses, not too big, not too small. I bought it at a drug store in South Africa in 2015, and happily used it until late 2022, when I lost it on a boat cruise in Vietnam. Since then I’ve spent hours hunting for such a case, fruitlessly. But I did find these glasses with case from “Skyoak,” and it’s the best option for now. The glasses themselves are high quality, comfortable and light. On the downside, the lenses are tinted slightly yellow with a coating meant to protect from blue light when viewing digital screens. That introduces an unnatural hue to everything -- including digital screens. The lenses are also slightly curved, which imparts a bit of vision warping at the edges. As a result, I wouldn’t recommend these are your “main” reading glasses. They’re good for when you’re out of the house, whether grocery shopping or on a three-week vacation. Another downside, the design is proprietary – if you happened to break the glasses, good luck finding a pair slim enough to fit in the case. Have to buy glasses and case from Skyoak again. So get a two-pack if you tend to break or lose things. I use these Skyoaks only when out of the house. At home / office, I have a large-ish and more comfortable pair of reading glasses for the computer, books, magazines, etc. ... show more
