  • Perfect race day hydration solution!
Style: Ultra Belt
I’ve got high standards for running gear...maybe impossibly high. So I can’t tell you how many packs and belts I’ve tried and sent back or put on one time and knew it was a stinker. This belt is the closest I’ve come to my ideal thus far for race days or for trails where you will have access to aid stations or hydration caches to refill! First off, it’s comfy and once you find the right hip position for your running style, fits well and without significant bounce. Secondly, the bottles are easy to access and (unlike other hydration belts) don’t dig into my sides and back! Last, I love the materials used and perfectly sized stash pocket. It holds my phone, keys and a snack without any trouble. It’s minimal and yet fully capable! The only knock I’ll give it is the the way the belt itself loops around the plastic bracket where it cinches tight. This isn’t a big issue...in fact, not an issue at all, but again, I have a standard of perfection on this stuff! Definitely would and HAVE already recommended it to others. ... show more

  • Really wanted to like it. Nope.
Style: Ultra Belt
I've been all over trying to find a good two-bottle waist belt. All of them have tiny 6 or 8 oz bottles, which is pretty much pointless if you go any real distances, and storage tends to be little to none. While this belt does have larger (16 0z) soft side bottles, that's really where the positives end. The sleeves are not insulated, so the bottles will pretty much rest directly on your back- not good. The storage compartment might hold a phone if you jammed it in there, but the material is so thin that there's just no way it's going to hold up to extended use. I really expected much more from such a pricey version of this product- but I won't even be taking it out for a test run. Just not acceptable. ... show more

  • GOOD LITE-WEIGHT BELT
Style: Ultra Belt
Overall, this belt is very close to what I was looking for in a hydration belt. Pros: Lightweight, Holds two water bottles, key holder and easy adjusting belt. Cons: Collapsible water bottles w/bite nozzles is not what I like to use on my long runs since I like to pour some cool water on my head while running. Key holder is in bad spot and the Velcro used to secure the key will probably wear down in a short time due to passing the adjustable belt through the belt clip. Misc: I ordered two 20 oz water Bottles of my liking and they fit perfectly. The pouch is big enough to hold a full size phone but I use it to carry my 380 Pistol. The belt weighs so much less then my previous belts and even with two 20 oz bottles, the belt secures it with no bounce. My only other concern is how long the Velcro belt will hold up to my running regime. I give it 4 stars....... ... show more

  • Check bottles
Style: Ultra Belt
So far so good, used once but noticed one of the bottles had a puncture and leaked water. It was for a half-marathon which had aid stations so I was able to access water. If I was out by myself on a long I would’ve needed that extra 500 ml of water. Other than that good.

  • mediocre hydration belt
Style: Ultra Belt
This new model is a disappointment compared to my prior Nathan hydration belt that accommodated two old style Nathan 18 oz water bottles in insulated sleeves. I wish my old one hadn't finally worn out. New model Pros: Light weight; adequate central storage pocket; secure and non-slip velcro closure system. New model Cons: Water capacity only average. water bottles do not readily slide in and out while running, especially when half empty. Non-insulated bottle sleeves. small diameter screw cap makes adding ice a challenge except with very small ice cubes. Conclusion: Not well suited for hot-weather runs. ... show more

  • Belt gave rashes
Style: Ultra Belt
The belt is so rough and hurt my skin and gave me rashes eventhough I wore it on my shirt.
