These looked great so we made the purchase but when I opened the package I was hit with such an overwhelming stink of decay or a rotting, musky foul odor and doesn’t go away. I can’t imagine serving food on such a plate because the disgusting odor would over power everything on the table. To put things in perspective, I walk in my front door and say “what is that nasty smell”……it was the open box of these in our kitchen. It stunk up our entire house. Buyer beware. These are GARBAGE. Do not waste your money, all 4 of them were warped within a week. Put one in the dishwasher, it warped, the others just warped from cleaning in the sink. These are a total waste of money.

These are thin, raw wood and dry out after first washing (by hand). They may end up being decent, but will need to treat first.

I noticed after only a few washings that the plates bend and bow, no longer lying flat. I washed them by hand and dried them with a hand towel.
