I love these sandals! The color is really nice. I would call the color taupe - a mix of brown and gray. Plus, I really love the height of the platform. The heel is about 2 1/2 inches high, and the front slopes down slightly. With as much as I love these sandals, though, I’m going to have to return them. As others have indicated, the front strap is really wide. So much so, that my toes slide right over the front edge - and my feet are NOT narrow.
