I really love these rain boots, I had gotten a size down based on the reviews before i bought them i’m usually a 7 and went down to a 6 and i’m so glad i did. if you have narrow feet these boots are perfect for you. they support my whole foot/ankle. they aren’t the lightest rain boot you can find but they aren’t heavy to where it’s uncomfortable to walk in. I work at a doggy daycare and these are great for any job that involves getting your feet wet all the time. Not very comfortable. I wear an 8 in every single brand I've ever purchased. These run slightly big (inside length) and my heels slide up and down when wearing because they're extremely stiff. I have very skinny narrow feet and these were on the verge of being too tight around the foot. If I sized down, they would've been uncomfortably tight. ... show more

    • A different kind of Chelsea boot from UGG

I feel like I've been buying this style of boot every year and am always swayed to try a new brand after they fail to hold up to my comfort expectations or the elements. I went with UGG this time because I've always wanted to invest in a pair, but I wanted something weatherproof for the next couple months in the rainy weather that I can slide on in a hurry. The neoprene shaft is interesting compared to the elastic varieties I've had in the past in terms of ease of stretch. This allows for my ankles to breathe and still tuck in leggings and socks, but it's also waterproof so, dry socks! That said, the fit is WEIRD at first like others have said which is why I knocked off a star. Narrow toes that are tolerable because of the flex of the rubber and insole, but a very loose, wide heel. I bought my usual size 9 and felt that if I sized down, my toes would be squashed too much. So, to make up for the loose heel, I slid in a stiff-based plastic insole underneath as support that helped immediately, but not sure if it will last over time as the sherpa insole molds to my foot. The insole is thick, at least two and a half inches of foam with the sherpa lining on top. Feels more comfortable than any other Chelsea boot I've ever worn, and by comparison, one of the lightest as well. These are kind of like a hidden platform boot with a low heel. I also like that they don't scream UGG, pretty nondescript. I'm honestly kind of sick of leather or faux leather boots that always scuff and tear on the toes or get loose, overly visible stitching. Not sure if this is laziness on my part or failure to repair. I'm interested how the rubber material will work out over time and how the sole will hold up. Not sure yet if it is a truly non-slip sole but its entirely rubber. I noticed a few initial marks on the exterior, but they were easily wiped off. I think I could get away with dressing these up for nice occasions since the matte black rubber looks like leather if you squint lol. I'm a dog groomer and so I need comfortable water-proof boots since I spend all day in them. These are it. I had croc boots that did ok before but these are way better on my feet than they were.

I like them. I’m a true size 6 with narrow feet and these fit gray. I can wear normal or wool socks with them. They slip a bit on the heel but the more I wear them that stops. The red was brighter in person and I was very happy about that. I recommend!! (Maybe not for people with wide feet thought)
