I just had to leave a review , regarding these Uggs!!! OMG! So, I read the reviews BEFORE purchasing these particular Uggs (I also bought the brown pair, after receiving the black pair first). I felt like before I drop almost $150 on a pair of shoes/boots....I gotta see what folks are saying! Oh my goodness, people were right, these Uggs DO STRETCH! As I type this review, I am currently wearing the black pair. I tried them on last week, when they first arrived and then put them up. Since I do not really have time to go out much I figured, although I did not break them in much, "Let's wear them to the grocery store!" I forgot to mention, when I tried them on last week, they were a tad bit snug. See, I am in BETWEEN a size 12 and a size 13 women's shoe (closer to the 13, after gaining a bit of weight). In any event, I wore them to the grocery store this morning and they felt so comfortable! I wore them WITHOUT socks (I hate wearing socks lol) in 30 degree weather and felt sooooo toasty! These Uggs do stretch! I felt them getting a little loose, as I walked around the grocery store! If you are in between sizes, I would order a size down, because these Uggs DO STRETCH! I should add, the brown pair are a bit snug...a bit more snug than the black ones. Not sure if it is anything to do with the (black) dye, that makes the black pair a bit looser (at least for me). I am hoping over time, the brown pair will also stretch out just like the black pair. In any event, I love these Uggs! Extremely comfortable and the color matches most any lounge wear. The inner lining of fur is a must on cold days and keep your feet toasty if you are out and about dropping the kids at school or running through a drive through early in the morning!! Okay, I am an 8 1/2 - 9 in shoe size. Everyone said size down. So I started with an 8. It felt really tight. So, I tried a 9, the shoe was slipping off my foot. I love the comfort and look of this shoe. I re-ordered the size 8 and wore them around the house a bit. After a day or two they were the perfect size and easy to slip on and off. The 8 is a tad too big, but I know a 7 would be too small, so I'll stick with the 8's. They are a bit blocky and dorky looking but they are SO comfortable and warm.
