Love these boots. So comfy and warm. I was worried about investing a large amount in one pair of boots and buying shoes online that I'd never tried on before. My worries went away immediately! I have always been an LL Bean Boot wearer but my very old bean boots were not water proof and were not keeping my feet as warm as I needed. Purchased these in black for a winter trip to Vermont. They were very comfortable. Looked great with leggings or jeans. Most of all, they kept my feet warm and dry. They were made with real shearling and not the faux fur. That’s why they kept my feet so warm and dry. Also, merino wool socks helped with that as well.

These boots are lightweight, not heavy, and very comfortable and waterproof. The fuzzy wuzzy fur inside the boots keeps your feet warm. I recommend these boots for the winter, especially because they are suitable for the snow. I love them and would purchase them again in a different color if they have it.

I splurged and bought these boots for my daughter for Christmas. She was absolutely thrilled with them because both of us thought that they were UGG Australia boots, made in Australia. But they are not. They are very nice boots, they are leather and my daughter says they are warm and comfortable and she likes them a lot. We have only had them since Christmas and so far there are no issues with them. I had been looking at other versions of their shoes and boots and noticed mixed reviews that mentioned problems with their various products which surprised me because UGG had always been very high quality. It was when I went to clean them that I realized they were made in Vietnam and not Australia. Reviews also mentioned that the products were made in China or other Asian countries. I wondered if UGG was no longer making their shoes and boots in Australia? It turns out that this is not the Australian company. This is a completely different American company. I am disappointed to realize that these are not what I thought they were, I have not mentioned it to my daughter as I do not want to take away her joy and happiness at having a pair of UGG boots. But I felt others should know that there is a difference. The UGG boots that we remember from the 1980s and '90s that were so popular still exist and are still made in Australia, they sell them on their own website and I do not know if they sell any of their products on Amazon. I recently discovered that UGG Australia did not patent the right to use the name UGG, therefore, they have a patent for the name UGG Australia. It must say Australia after the name. UGG, otherwise it is not them. UGG Australia still makes their high quality shoes and boots IN Australia as they always have been. I did not know that when I purchased these, I read the paragraph on this page that mentioned how the company started and because it had Australia in the paragraph I thought it was the same one, I did not know the story of the Australian company. I just felt that consumers should be aware that these are two entirely different companies with an extremely similar logo, because the name is very misleading.

The area where the tongue meets the front of the boot has been stitched differently between boots. One is stitched horizontally shorter in length across the bridge and also straighter instead of more curved. This makes that boot too narrow through the bridge of your foot. Also the tongue of the boot is attached by stitching and the fold digs into your foot if the boot is too narrow as it does not allow enough space for your foot. This is NOT the quality one would expect from this company I will not order again to try to find two that are the same. I am not impressed with the stitching of this item. I hope customer service does not put this boot back out to inventory. Upon receipt of the boots I also noticed the tongue seems a little indented some as if it has been worn some. I have read other reviews mentioning problems with quality of this item but sadly I ignored them.
