These are expensive but well worth the money! My feet stayed warm. I am a bus driver and need to clean the bus in the winter. I live in NH and we get a lot of snow. My feet were never cold.

I bought these style boots 15 years ago and now they are leaking a bit along the seam so I wanted to replace them. I researched many boots that are comparable and decided these fit my needs for Washington State north coast area. I read reviews from people who said these are fakes and they are wrong. They just aren't made the same. Instead of using pure wool sheepskin on these they just use updated materials. The inside is a blend of wool and synthetic fibers. A lot of people think these are fake because they say Made in Vietnam but UGG moved production years ago, and Vietnam is totally normal. The lining is still real wool (UGGpure) but not the heavy sheepskin hide they used 15 years ago, so the boots feel lighter. The tongue is waterproof suede instead of leather, but it’s treated and gusseted, so it still keeps out snow and rain. My old ones had leather tongues and I prefer that. They just aren't the same quality but I think they are very nice. I'm glad they are lighter. I looked at the ones on the UGG site to be sure and they're the same. I hope they hold up as long as the ones I have from 15 years ago. I used boot glue in the seams to fix them but wasn't sure it would work and don't want wet feet to find out! Are they worth 250? Idk. Nothing is made the way they used to be. Disappointed as I expected I might be because I know this is how it is, but I will keep them. Also, I wear size 7 but because they are thick lined I got a 7 1/2. That would be okay with one pair of thick socks but not two. Idk if I want to wear two pairs so I may decide to return for an 8. ... show more

I wore these in the snow in December Chicago weather. I had no problems with them. They are pretty heavy duty. I bought my usual size 9 and they fit well. The boots are expensive, but I feel I’ll have them for years.
