The boot has insulation all the way to the toes not just in the body of the boot. He can also drive in them which is a huge plus. Super warm and comfy! Once you wear them for a while, the 'sheep' lining compresses and then the boots feel a little big. The Vibram soles are amazing. Update 11/21/22 Sole came clean off the boot. I had noticed it detaching a little at the edge of the ball of the foot on the other foot, however, today one side just flat out peeled away. ... show more

The fur/wool/fabric in the boot is great! The Vibram sole is wonderful! The water-resistant/proof (depending on the water level) is nice! I own three pair! Every color. Great boot!
