The surface on the black color is like blurry, it diesn't shine like black leather does. but idk maybe that's just me. You can lay your hand on them and your fingerprints will stay on the surface. Try getting half a size smaller too, they do run large. Other than that seems like a good shoe.

Great looking boots with no break-in required. If you are looking for warm footwear, these are it. I wasn’t exactly… and my feet are hot in these. I will only wear them in the cooler months, which isn’t anytime soon in FL.

    • Great boot. Fit is a little large.
I like this boot. If I had to order again, I would order a size down as I normally wear a 13 and a 13 in this item is too big. Feels more like a rubber rain boot (galoshes) than the high end boot I expected. I like the functionality of it, though. I just wish it fit more true to size.

Purchased these hoping they would fit and be as described. They are light, I got size 15 and they are surprising light. I have to wear insoles with other shoes/boots but I am 2 days in these for the better part of 12 hours or more and so far so good. My feet aren’t hurting without my insoles. I also threw some wax on them. With some work you could pull a mirror out of the toe. I hope they hold up well and I will be back for more if they do. ... show more

This is a really nicely constructed and high-quality boot for the money. My pair came in darker leather than the advertising pic showed so dark brown that it was edging towards black. This may change as the oils and leather age I would expect. I returned my pair, because the toe ended up being more round than I could realize on the pictures. I love this work boot. This is the second pair I've bought.I'm a firefighter and bought my first pair almost three years, wearing them for work every shift. They're very comfortable and fit great. I normally wear a size 10 in the majority of all my shoes/boots. I ordered a 10 which was extremely too large therefore exchange it for a size 9. The nine was a perfect fit!
