  • Don’t be fooled! Fits as expected!
Size: 11 Color: Espresso
HAD TO RETURN 1ST PAIR - Unfortunately I listened to the reviews telling me to “size up.” I am size 10, originally purchased size 11 slippers based on the reviews. BIG MISTAKE. Do people wear 3 pairs of wool socks?! My foot was swimming in the 11s. Returned for size 10, and they fit perfectly, imagine that! :) ... show more

  • Pretty good slippers but maybe a better pair elsewhere.
This is my second Ugg pair of slippers. My old ones were given to me as a gift five or six years ago. This pair is made in China. The first pair in Viet Nam. Quality has dropped somewhat. The lining is not as luxurious as I remember my old pair when new. Underneath the wool on the foot bottom is a foam cushion. The old pair had a cotton/wool cushion which seemed to absorb moister better in the early years. My feet now feel a bit damp after a few hours of wearing. The color and outside looks about the same. I probably should have cross shopped with LL Bean which sells a similar item for a bit less. ... show more

  • They don't make Uggs like they used to
I have a five-year-old pair of Chestnut Ascots and a new pair of Chestnut Ascots. The OLD pair is a lighter color, has thicker Shearling, and more wool lining. They were (and are) the best, warmest, most comfortable slippers I've ever owned. (They are also pretty dirty). The NEW pair feels cheaper and less comfy. They look like Uggs but feel like failure. I'm thinking of trying the LL Bean Wicked Good moccasins for $79. I'm certainly never going to pay $110 ever again for $50 slippers. You're company is cutting corners to drive profits. You know it, and eventually your customers will notice. It's a shame. I would still recommend the slippers over many other brands, but you guys have some nerve still charging $110 for a lower quality product. ... show more

  • Lives up to the hype, way better than Koolaburra line.
I have gone through 5 pairs of house shoes in as many years, and I only wear them in the winter. Even though they were cheap (<$25/pair) they were a bad deal because they fell apart so fast. With the money I wasted on cheap junk I could have paid for these and had money left over. There is also the comfort. The cheap ones (even the 'memory foam' versions) are nowhere near as comfortable as these Ascots. The real fur lining provides amazing comfort. The sole is very grippy and very soft. The leather is also extremely soft. I like to sit 'criss cross' in my office chair while I work and these are soft enough not to hurt while tucked under my legs. I tried the Koolaburra, but they just don't compare. The fake fur lining in the Koolaburras are less than half the density of the real fur in the Ascots. The sole is also much thicker, less stable, and much harder in the Koolaburras. Don't get me wrong, they are still good slippers, but the Ascots are in another league entirely. Yes, these are (IMHO) crazy expensive for a pair of slippers, but even with that in mind, my only regret is that I did not buy them sooner. ... show more

  • Less than impressed
Size: 12 Color: Espresso
Update: I returned these. I'm going to leave it at a 3 because it's cool that they took them back, but I could not recommend these to a friend OR an enemy. These first degree murdered my feet. I tested them, and they didn't keep my feet warmer than a sock. I liked the tread, and they felt nice inside and out, but there was so little material the inside to keep me warm. My feet hurt for days, and I am not one to notice that kind of thing. I'll change my review if these break in, but I'm with all the people who said order a size up, or more. I'm an 11.5, I ordered a 12, and I had to cram my feet into them. It wasn't heaven like one reviewer said (to me), and I believe other people who said the quality is gone down in years, even though this is my first pair, it didn't live up to the hype for me. It's cool that they're UGGS, the workmanship I can tell they take pride in it, but I was underwhelmed. I would say they're like getting a good pair of very normal slippers that are first degree murder tight. Some people were saying they put them on and wouldn't take them off, I took mine off after a dutiful few minutes of letting my feet act as shoe trees. I got some that are espresso suede on the outside, they look nice, but the only person that is going to see them is a cat. And me. Not worth the anticipation. ... show more

  • Counterfeit?
Size: 11 Color: Espresso
Honestly, if ugg made these and they're actually authentic. Then ugg SHOULD NOT MAKE foot wear . point blank. I lift up the insole because when i try them on i feel a ridge jabbing into bottom of foot. To find the shoe has a LARGE chunk not "glued" on. Smh... If i was WHOEVER is reading this purchase something else... OR directly from UGG ... show more

  • True to size warm slippers
I wear a size 11 in most sneakers (Adidas, Nike, New balance, etc) . Ordered an 11 for these and the first fit is only a little tight... but they are supposed to be. Once they get worn the fur will pack down and conform to your feet. If you are in between sizes, I would size up. If you are a full size you should be okay unless you have no toe room in your size. I definitely wouldn't say they are uncomfortably tight, just very snug. I have a similar pair from another company, same size but way tighter. One thing I don't like about the Uggs too much are the tags. One pokes you in the side of the foot and one patch is under your heel. I'm sure they both get softer with wear. Overall they are excellent slippers. I think there are great alternatives for less but they can be hard to find. If you are okay at this price point though, go ahead and splurge on yourself. ... show more

  • The Most Luxurious Slipper I've ever Owned. Order a size up.
I bought a pair of these years ago that got lost by an airline along with my luggage. It was heartbreaking because they were so broken in and perfectly fitted to my feet. Favorite pair of slippers ever. Long story short, it took me awhile to replace them, simply because they are quite expensive for slippers, and it's hard to justify the purchase but I couldn't wait any longer. The only problem is that I should have listened to some of the reviews and ordered a size up (I couldn't remember the size of my last pair). These are way too tight and don't give me the option to wear socks, which I like to do sometimes. Very, very happy with the quality, but I will be exchanging the ones I just received for a size up and they should be perfect. Can't wait to rock these whenever, wherever. ... show more
