I'm picky about my slippers. I want them to fit right. I want them to have classic styling. I want them to be well made and durable. And, I want them to be amazingly comfortable and warm. I just bought my first pair of UGGS. I try to avoid trendy labels because I think they're usually just hype. Knowing that UGGS have historically been a celebrity brand, I tried to avoid them. But after a lengthy search, I finally settled on these slippers based on product reviews, and the other criteria I listed above. Granted they were expensive. Sometimes you just have to shell out the cash to get quality. And, I am not only NOT disappointed, I am positively thrilled. These things hug my feet, are chock full of plush lining, and have all the appearances of a quality product. Time will tell if they hold up to my demanding wear, but after a few days I am still very glad I bought these. I wore them outside on my deck in winter temperatures in the teens, and my feet couldn't tell they were outside. As of now, I would DEFINITELY but these again. Two week follow up: As always, the interior piling has begun to flatten out, however only slightly when compared to synthetic piling. I still can't get over how warm they keep my feet. If these things ever wear out, I'm absolutely buying another pair. UGGS - if you can hear me....don't ever change this product, and don't ever stop selling it. Two months in, and I'm still in love. Well, it's been a year now. These slippers are currently unavailable, and that's a shame. I hope they haven't been discontinued. They're such a classic look and fit! Also, one year in (under COVID conditions, mind you) and these things still look brand new on the outside. As expected, the inside piling has begun to mat a bit. BUT, they still keep my feet amazingly warm and toasty. Someday I may need a new pair and, when that happens, I hope they're available. I wish now that I'd purchased a second pair as a back-up for when that day comes. I'm past year two and these are still going strong. If they ever wear out, though, I'm STILL getting another pair. So far, though, no damage or serious wear. I'm now at the four year mark. The outer shells are still pristine. The inner lining has become matted and needs to be cleaned. Unfortunately I cannot find any reliable instructions for cleaning the interior and getting them fluffed up again. BUT - for the price point, I am quite satisfied that I got four solid years out of them. I've already ordered a replacement pair (different color - didn't have my color in stock). When the new pair arrives, I'm going to go to work on these and hope I don't ruin them in the process. ... show more

    • Premium Slippers That Actually Feel Luxurious

I picked up the UGG Ascot slippers for something nicer than basic house shoes and they really do feel a step above. The wool lining is soft and warm without getting overly sweaty, so they are perfect for cold mornings or evenings. The upper holds its shape well and looks more like a casual loafer than a floppy slipper, which makes them feel a bit more put together if you are wearing them around guests or stepping outside. One of the best parts is the sole. It has enough structure and grip that I can walk out to the mailbox, take out the trash, or run a quick errand without worrying about slipping or soaking through. They feel almost like a comfortable casual shoe on the bottom and a cozy slipper on the inside. They were slightly snug at first, especially with thicker socks, but they broke in and molded to my feet after a little wear. I bought these for my husband before his surgery. He has an older pair, but he said he forgot how soft and warm these shoes felt until he put these on his feet. He said they're like a hug in a shoe. The fit was perfect...he liked the look and and ease of wear. Uggs never disappoint in quality.

Extremely happy with these!! I never like moccasin type slipper because they're always hard to get on but these are fantastic!!! They have a slightly pointed back so your feet slip right in, even with socks on. These are very comfortable and have great grip on the sole. Good for indoor and outside wear. This is the third pair of this model of UGG slipper I've owned. What can I say about the first two pair? They were comfortable, good quality, with plush lining and durable too. The first two pair lasted around 8 years. Talk about getting your money's worth. Well, this new pair looks and fits as well as the first two. However, the lining seems a little less plush. A lot of people have this misconception that Uggs I just “boots with the fur” and they’re just for females. This is not true. They have slippers for men too. And the fur is on the inside, not on the outside. Are they comfortable??? 100% could you wear them outside? They’re not waterproof but they’re almost like wearing really nice.
