Description

Our best-selling men’s style, the Ascot is a perennial favorite. Luxurious wool and water-resistant suede compose this slipper, which has been equipped with a rubber outsole suited for indoor and outdoor wear. Footwear Sizing Guide - Draw a straight line, longer than your foot, on a piece of paper. Place the paper on a flat surface. Stand on the line with your heel and longest toe centered on the line. If measuring a child's foot, it may be easier to hold the paper up to their foot. Place a mark on the line at the tip of the longest toe and at the back of the heel. Repeat steps the for the other foot. Measure the distance between the marks. Taking the larger of the two measurements, use the conversion chart to find your correct shoe size.

  • Creature Comforts for your feet! Plus, sizing mystery solved by UGG Retail Store Manager...
These slippers are the most comfortable footwear I've ever owned! Since many customers seem to be confused as to which size they should order, here's a bit of advice for you: I live close to the Union Square Shopping District here in San Francisco. I walked over to the Downtown SF UGG Store and tried on the Ascot Slipper with Store Manager assistance. My foot measures EXACTLY size 9 D (M), so I tried on both a size 9 D (M) and a size 10 D (M). I can see why many customers are saying to buy one size up because the abundant amount of UGG PURE wool made my true size 9 D (M) feel quite snug. I noticed that the size 10 D (M) felt like it fit better at first, but after walking around the store (with regular cotton socks on) I noticed that the heal started to slip just a bit. The Store Manager said the vast majority of the UGG Ascot Slippers she sells feel tight at first, but "break in" to feel quite normal after several days of wear. To avoid excessive returns, she ALWAYS tells her customers to order their exact street shoe size, NOT one size up. So, I decided to purchase the size 9 D (M) from Amazon.com and I'm SO GLAD I didn't order the larger size! I plan on wearing my slippers with no socks, and it's important to know that I have normal (to slightly narrow) width feet. If you plan on wearing thick socks, or have wider than normal feet then you might consider ordering a size up, since half sizes aren't available (or possibly a wider size if you have wider than normal feet). Everyone's feet are unique, so you will have to decide if it makes sense to go up a size as several customers have suggested. I'm glad I didn't order a size up though, because my heal would be slipping by now if I had. I hope this sizing information helps! Give yourself the gift of comfort with these awesome slippers, they are well made, toasty warm and great for wearing around the house on chilly days. ... show more

  • Quality, but too small.
Size: 10 Color: Discontinued Charcoal
Oh my goodness, these slippers are quality! We ordered them for our son and they arrived quickly. He wears a size 10 shoe, and we ordered a 10, but they were really hard to squeeze into. His toe was at the end and they were too narrow as well. I recommend ordering up a size, and if you have a wide foot these may not be the right ones for you. Still, leather will stretch so if you don't mind the temporary discomfort of a tight fit you may enjoy them. On a side note, we had to pay shipping to return them. I'm doubtful we will order the same ones in a bigger size, because if they don't fit then we are out shipping twice. ... show more

  • Great Slippers, Less One Star For ~SIZING~
Size: 10 Color: Discontinued Charcoal
These are quality slippers. I really like the look of them. The insides are very cozy and warm. The soles are very tough (even though I don't wear my slippers outside). They are worth the money. But.....Prior to purchasing them, I read everyone's reviews and since I wear a 12, I ordered a 13. My feet are not wide. When they arrived, they were SNUG. I was glad I made the decision to follow the advice and order up a size. I thought if I wore them around the house for several days they would stretch out and be comfortable. Aside from them being too snug, they are very comfortable. The place where they are very tight is across the top - the middle part of the foot. My toes have wiggle room, but not much. Unfortunately, they did not stretch out and I am returning them. I am going to give these slippers another shot, because of all the positive reasons I stated before. I am hoping that their sizing is consistent and that a 14 won't end up being huge boats on my feet. If you are wondering whether to believe the many size issues that people are having, I can now add my say that yes, they are cut small. Very small. I don't wear a 12.5 shoe - a solid 12. So a 13 not fitting is kind of ridiculous, but I am going to give them another try, if any 14s are available. ... show more

  • 7 Years Hard Use and Counting
My second pair, hope they are as comfortable and long lasting as my original. They appear identical but the new ones are made with the new UGGpure™ wool lining which is not shearling. They say it should feel and last like the original but won't know till I've had them for years. My original pair have gotten over seven years hard use, crossing gravel driveway several times a day, outside and inside stairs, concrete and wood floors, often worn all day. I've replaced (and highly recommend) the UGG insoles. I put new insoles in about every three years and the slippers immediately regain their original wonderful comfort and are already broken in. The new slippers feel a little too snug as they should until forming to your foot. Doesn't take long. I normally would take a size 10.5 to 11 (US) in a shoe but purchased a size 10 slipper (for barefoot use) and it fits just right after it "breaks-in." After getting this new pair I took the old ones to the local shoe repairman to patch a very small tear in the heal and for $8 and new insoles they too feel as good as new. Now I'll probably take the old pair on travel trips which I hadn't been willing to do before. ... show more

  • Don't be worried about initial snug fit.
Just received these slippers and they are incredible. I wear a size 10.5 in most shoes (Cole Haan, Johnston Murphy) and Size 11 in tennis shoes (Nike, Adidas, New Balance). My son has had these for 4 years, size 11, and his fit me perfect. I ordered as Size 11. When I first put them on they fit really snug. Not tight, but snug. Note that I also had a pair of wool socks on as well. After reading on line about UGG's, their website stated: "UGG footwear should be snug – but not uncomfortable. UGG footwear is designed to be worn barefoot to maximize the cushioning and warmth of the sheepskin. Our fleece foot bed will mold to the natural contours of your foot, creating a personalized arch support." I removed my socks and wore them all evening in barefeet.....and they were perfect. Feet don't sweat and the wool is really breathable Also over time the wool will mat down and form to you foot. So I suggest going with your normal size, wear them barefoot for a few days you they will fit perfect. ... show more
