I'm writing this review mainly to help others with similar body type to mine. I'm 5'3" and weigh between 162 and 166 (fluctuates). My waist a 32. Bigger bottom and thighs. First, I believe the item description states "dry clean only. Yet, enclosed in my package was a loose tag stating, "much better after wash". I planned on washing these verses dry cleaning anyway. I'll get to how they washed in a bit. I originally ordered the size L, and though they seem to fit for the most part, I did not like that the pleats didn't lay nicer. This was right out of the package. I knew that they would likely shrink a little after washing so I returned and got the XL which is sizing up for me . The fit in the waist in about the same, and I like how the pleats lay (without any pulling) much better. So for me the correct size is XL. They washed up surprisingly well. I do have a front load washer which is kinder to your clothes then a top loader. I did cold wash/warm rinse. I dried for 50 minutes on low heat and hung immediately. The waist band was still a bit damp. I also washed and dried a small load to prevent excess wrinkling. They came out beautiful. I really like them. The loose fit is very comfortable. Are they the most flattering pants on me? Nope, but they will be great for warm/hot days. Oh, and the length of the XL on my 5'3" frame is exactly what I was hoping for. Sharing several pics. This is after washing before wearing. I also got them in the lake blue. Both are great colors.

I absolutely recommend these pants, they are soft and great quality. Bought in many colors. I have washed them and the color hasn’t faded. I do recommend air drying them due to the fact the will shrink in the dryer.Very flattering for fuller body figures like my self.

I am 5'8" and these were almost long enough. They need to be about a 33" inseam. Can you make a tall person version? You would sell a lot more! They are not sheer, the pleats are cute, they are comfortable but I must return because the should hit my foot and and they are too short.

I absolutely love these pants! I ordered the dark olive and the khaki color. Please be sure to follow the sizing chart as these are true to size. Heavier weight than a 100% linen pant, which I love because they don't wrinkle as easy, they fall better with the heavier weight, and they are not see through. I will be purchasing these pants in other colors! Perfect summer staple to dress up or down

These pants are super cute and comfy to wear. However they shrink incredibly. At least 2 inches. The first time I washed and dried them in the dryer and they shrank alot. The second pair I received I only washed them delicate cycle and then flat dried it. Laying it out flat to air dry. They still shrank! Such a bummer because these were so cute on and they were comfortable on.

I recently bought these because I was desperate to find some comfy pants for a trip to the Virgin Islands. I wanted something that would be comfy enough for the plane, and breezy enough to wear in a tropical climate. I worried that the relatively low number of reviews (105 as of this writing, now 106) meant that they might be lower quality - I am SO glad I decided to go for it anyway. I can tell these pants will last a long time: the thick quality of the material (thick without being heavy or hot) and the quality of the seams, etc. are evident upon first inspection and were proven true after wearing them through multiple airports, and even using them as pajama pants a couple nights. They are incredibly comfortable, and oh my goodness, the pockets! The pockets are deep, and even when sitting down or leaning over, I never had an issue with anything falling out, as can be a problem with some other lightweight/comfy pants I’ve had in the past. From start to finish, these pants are the ones you’re looking for, I promise you. In fact, I got back from my trip today and came back to buy them in another color. While I was here, I realized since the low number of reviews deterred me, I should write one to help convince any of you who may be feeling how I was. Trust me, y’all, this is one of those finds on Amazon that you will be amazed you were lucky enough to find. For reference, I don’t think I’ve ever left a review this glowing about anything on Amazon. They’re just THAT good.
