This has to be one of the worst purchases I’ve made from Amazon. The instructions are not worth much at all, I’ve seen some people say it’s self explanatory and while that may be true, that didn’t make it any less difficult. Fabric cover was ripped and is very cheap, I also paid for one day shipping and then suddenly it jumped to two day shipping so I’m still confused on that. There was also missing pieces and the plastic connectors are very cheap and break easily. 10/10 do not recommend. It just seems like a scam. ... show more

I didn't build as pictured.. My closet has a steel pipe for hanging clothes and this is too tall I wanted a storage system inside my closet and this works for me I now have a temporary solution for my huge closet to have compartments to store not just clothes As mentioned in other reviews, be careful of the tubing.. it's sharp and I cut myself Also, the plastic pieces are not durable and the sharp tubing can cut right through ... show more

    • Not bad, but consider a few things before buying
There are a lot of parts to this portable closet and it took a decent amount of time to put together. The instructions are not the worst I've seen, but could have been better for sure. A lot of people have complained about the sturdiness and when I was putting it together, I was concerned about it. Now that I have clothes in it, it seems to be holding up well. If it collapses, I'll update the review. Here are some tips: 1. Wear gloves that have some type of padding. The connecting rods and plastic connectors don't go in easy and you need to really push them in. Avoid using too much force as the rods bend if you even look at them funny. I bent two and had to unbend one otherwise I would have been one short. There was an extra one in the box. 2. Be very careful when pushing the rods into the plastic connectors, especially when you get to the second layer of this thing. Too little and it's going to be crooked. Too much and the rods bend and/or you injure yourself. The inside of my hand is bruised and I accidentally punched myself in the chest at some point. 3. As you get to the top, be really careful not to push down too much or the bottom rods will move. Also, your hand could slip and you'll put a rod in your eye. 4. Think really hard before you ask someone to help you put this together or have anyone else in the house with you while doing so. I could see conflicts occur because this product is so frustrating. My sister and I share a small room, and she needed more closest space. So, I bought this portable closet and it's the best thing that's ever happened to our room. I build it in the living room because I wanted to have a lot space and afterwards we just moved it against a wall in our room. It does look bigger in person than in the online pics, but it didn't take up too much space. It's honestly so convenient because you can also use it as storage if you need to and you can customize it how you like. Advice for assembling: - Count the parts before assembling! It's pretty simple to build when you follow the instructions, but some of the pieces look very similar. So, counting them out will help you differentiate between all the pieces. Hint: The longer pieces are used for the foundation. I didn't realize this until the end and had to go all the way back to redo it. - When it gets to the part where you wrap the black cloth around the bottom, there are holes in the cloth you can use to make it easier. I didn't notice at first and ended up watching a youtube tutorial to see how to do it - It's pretty easy to assemble; just follow the directions and watch some youtube videos if you need a better visual reference. Reminder: - This closet does not come with hangers or bins. We bought the hangers and bins you see in the picture from Walmart and it worked perfectly with the closet. We've had the closet for about 3 weeks now and it's still standing! It has great durability (granted- we don't put a ton of heavy things on the bottom), but it was definitely what we needed! ... show more

I tried using for swapping seasonal clothes and my sons shirts and small totes on the bottom For like miscellaneous items like face masks and bandaids and heating pad. You get the point. However the stand started leaning forward and the rods were coming out. I then switched items and distribute weight but then the rod “hooks” to hang the rod to put clothes on bent and broke so I can’t hang anything anymore and I had to tie a rope around the top half of the stand to secure to the wall until I got something else because it’s not safe to lean forward and unfortunately I would not recommend this item for anything other than MAYBE baby clothes storage but it’s not durable even for a grade school kid clothes. Space is good but again not for much of anything besides stuff animal or like baby items ... show more
