Item is not as described and does not come in a branded box. It arrived in a cardboard box that only read "MADE IN CHINA" The rack is not glossed, it is wobbly, unstable and is a matte dark gray versus the picture showing a glossy black metal. Doesn't come with any instructions on how to build, you have to figure it out. This cost $40 and is the material of a $9.99-$15.00 clothing rack from walmart. I am not sure if this is a knock off or dupe of the original photo. The glossy look vs. matte look does matter to me because I purchased this to match other furniture that has a glossy shine. I was very hesitant to purchase this because I did not see any reviews. This garment rack is light weight, but very sturdy. The bottom two racks are not wobbly and supported my shoes and bag well. I like that it is not slanted. Shoes tend to fall off the slanted racks. It was very easy to assemble. The box includes the typical Allen wrench AND a Phillip screwdriver. You will have one extra screw and bolt left over. Don't worry. You did not leave anything out. At first I was skeptical of the plastic hooks, but they have held up nicely when I hung a light jacket on it. So far I am using this near my entryway for guests to hang their coats. Poles start to rock when you set to much clothes in the rack. Aren’t able to place many heavy clothes or coats because the durability of the poles isn’t strong. Need to be more descriptive about the weight capacity of the poles

This product did arrive damaged. One of the bottom of the legs came bent out of shape. This did not affect it's ability to function. The rack still stood up, stable, so it ended up being only a cosmetic issue. And you don't even see that part of the rack (bottom of leg, the part that touches the ground). So we kept it and so far she has no complaints about it. We love that this rack has a built in shoe rack and hooks (great for her swimsuit to dry, backpack to hang, coats, scarves and robe to rest). We also love that it has a built in "guard" to prevent hangers from sliding off the sides. It is very lightweight! Easy to move around, if needed. Two people can put this together in about 30-45 minutes. We were disappointed in the damaged part, but it ended up working out and we don't regret our purchase. ... show more

    • It almost tipped over when bumped
The media could not be loaded. Its biggest downfall is its instability. It shakes tremendously and has almost tipped over when bumped. When fully loaded, the bar bends almost 1/2 inch and bounces when clothes are hung up. The side hooks are plastic. I really tried to overlook its flaws, but it was a constant disappointment to use so I returned it. I found several others that hold over 100 pounds for only $25 more, so I will try them out next. ... show more

Dislike? Immensely! More money for another garment rack, I certainly did not pick the right one. Lately I have had to make the trip to Kohl's to return merchandise, I just did not want to pack this piece of crap and haul it back! Two wing nuts that had NO threads to tighten the anchor rod in place, so I could not finish the job. I will make a trip to the hardware store! Do not buy this item.... It won't be there for the long haul!!!!! ... show more

For the value of this product, I LOVE it! It’s easy to assemble. I gave it a 4 stars on sturdiness because it’s not meant to hold 100 items (obviously) and if you wanted to lift the top bar off you could do so easily (that’s an easy fix, as you can glue it down. However, I did not glue it down and have not had any problems ). I’m in the process of hanging all my clothes/organizing and it hold everything perfectly so far (a lot of my garments are 100% wool and weigh a lot). It does not wabble, or bend. I truly love the 2 bottom racks as they hold my purses/boxes and organize my shoes perfectly. If you’re on a budget this closet is great!! ... show more
