I sent three of these bags through the USPS one arrived fine, one arrived with the corner chewed open the last is MIA. The plastic feels tough, the adhesive is strong but a floppy bag did not stand up to the machines of the postal service. I will try again with the contents tightly wrapped so the corners are not as easily caught. ... show more

I ordered the purple color and they look very good for mailing my handmade purses. This is the first time I bought poly mailers so I can't compare with other brand. After reading customer reviews, I double bagged a bigger purse just in case it rips like a few customers had complained about.. These bags are huge but the next size smaller would be a little too small for this purse. I had to fold the mailer and used clear packing tape to secure the purse from swimming inside the mailer. Beware that if you plan to use these for shipping, the first one I used yesterday suffered a puncture hole just from a fingernail accidentally scraping it. I had to resort to putting the entire packaged item inside a box to ship it because I did not trust this to hold up to the rigors of shipping.

These are great. A company sent me to coats in one over seas and just used the adhesive that came on the bag and no rips and plenty of room. If your shipping a dress or coat or even shoes you can fold over the bag and tape the sides in. It is so much better than trying to hunt down boxes.

Well - on the plus side, these bags are roomy, which is nice! However - they are not sturdy and the adhesive is weak. I ripped one of the sides of the bag simply by putting a stuffed animal into it. You can seal and unseal these bags with ease -- they don't stick well and definitely need tape on top. In the end, I triple-bagged my stuffed animal package and put tape all around both ends plus a band of tape around the middle. Last but not least - I got 49 bags, not 50. Not a big deal, but if the seller is shorting customers by 2% consistently, that's not cool. I'll update this review when the recipient receives it. Fingers crossed 3 bags is enough and the package arrives intact! ... show more
