I really like these shoes they’re nicer than I expected. Super comfortable. Kind of cute kinda ugly but definitely comfy. I use Arch supports in my shoes and they fit just fine. It’s convenient because the straps that you just to however tight you want it with Velcro so you don’t have to tie them off or readjust a nice surprise was the insole I’ll show a picture of it. It’s textured. I love to wear these type of shoes without any socks and it’s super comfortable. I just put my support under the insole. It lifted right up with no problem. I was not sure I would like barefoot shoes but really wanted to check them out. These shoes are so comfortable. I love that they are slip on and straps are Velcro. These are great quality, look nice, and I really like the gum sole - very non slip and grippy. Love the how wide the shoes are as well. I have wide feet and these are very comfortable with a little extra room to spread my toes. My only issue with these shoes are that the laces are integrated with the velcro, but because the laces are a bit long for me, that makes it difficult to get a tight fit. ... show more

    • Not practical for walking in rocky or hilly areas

I searched Amazon for walking shoes compatible for walking specifically on a gravel road/path. These shoes were recommended for that purpose. I walk approx 5 miles each day on a gravel, steep hill and long ( .25 miles) driveway. Looking at the soles of the shoes in the description, they appeared to handle the gravel and rocks but what the description did not say was that I going to feel each and every piece of gravel and rock. There is NO padding to reduce the discomfort. Also there is NO arch support if required. The room is the toe box is excellent and the Velcro laces are very good. I like the appearance of the shoe but the wearing tells a different and more important story! Around the house I’m sure they are comfortable but don’t go walking in the country! ... show more

I did a lot of searching and ended up choosing these shoes to see if I might find some relief for an achy Achilles tendon. Working great and they are my daily "throw ons" to run errands, going to be walking a bit, etc. I have not used these to replace proper running or walking shoes, but they would certainly do the trick. I DID find they run a little BIG. I am pretty much a true size 9/Euro 40. I ordered and they were too big (e.g., equated to 9 1/2). Ordered a size Euro 39 and they fit perfectly, especially with the side straps for adjustments. Plenty of room in the toe bed. They are also cute and stylish!!! ... show more
