The media could not be loaded. Listen to me now. This company is amazing. I bought the Stoker titanium flat pack stove and this Kessel titanium pot. The pot is awesome. The stove is awesome. I use their Zunden fatty ferro rod and their Leicht necklace is my EDC. I love to have a complete system that is so light weight. I have the Firebox G2 in stainless, the Lixada models in stainless and titanium. The Überleben is what is in my pack. The Kessel pot comes with the waxed canvas case and it is great quality. I am an Überleben fan boy now and will gladly push their products to my Outdoor Survival Skills students. ... show more

It’s an ok product. Using it every day last couple weeks and the main problem I have is the handle. You have to hold the handle right over the steaming hot fluid or food. I tried turning the handle around to see if the would work but it’s not designed to work that way and didn’t really work right. It did work but it was sketchy and made it feel like it would come apart. Even if the handle is on properly and the lid is on, when you go to pour the liquid out it tilts and the steam goes right up to your hand. My $20 pot works better than this one. Well thought out and a perfect size & shape. Clearly designed by outdoorsmen rather than some corporate R&D wonk. Pricy compared to the opposition though. Having said that, it’s a small company which deserves support. Get some distribution going in more countries guys!

The steel is a bit thinner than I expected / would like, but I will accept that as a weight saving rather than cost saving. The handle has to be removed to stow in the provided canvas bag. Removing the handle involves removing a thumb screw which means there is a risk of losing it. The wooden handle on the lid is a good idea but mine came loosely screwed on. I’ve tightened it but wonder how durable it will be. Canvas bag is nice. Honestly if the pan would fit in the bag without the handle having to be removed I’d probably ignore the weight of the steel and the loose handle and rate it higher. ... show more
