I got 2 of these trash cans and they truly keep the smell of dirty diapers in! I use it with regular kitchen trash bags and just spray it out with Lysol when I change the bags. If the lid is closed, no smell is getting out! Plus the color is great and doesn’t stand out. I have the brown one.

It really does what it says it does. I used it for my dog waste disposal outside and it’s usually pretty good for a week or two before I can’t bare the smell anymore after I open the lid, but as long as that thing is shut the smell is locked inside.

This fits so much more than our diaper genie and you can’t smell a thing when it’s closed! The fact that you can use your own garbage bags (which is so much cheaper) is so much easier and far and above makes up for the slightly higher price. I like that it does lock in the smell and I don’t walk into my son’s room and get hit with an odor but, I wish it was bigger. Even though it says it holds a normal size kitchen trash bag, the container itself is small therefore the bag fills up halfway and cannot hold anymore within the container.
