It’s more lightweight, so it’s perfect for summer months which is what I was wanting. It keeps me warm without trapping heat, so it’s great if you’re like me and you fluctuate between overheating and freezing at night. I think it would work well for the winter months, too. It’s fairly soft and good quality. There’s obviously softer, better quality comforters out there but it’s still very comfortable and cozy for the price. This is a nice bedding set, I like the way it looks on the bed, which needed a bedding update; although I felt the color looked more vibrant navy in the photo, the actual color on mine appears a bit more faded. I took images in different lighting conditions and up close, so you can judge for yourself what this will look like in your home. The material feels soft and the pin-tucking is a very nice touch. The comforter is a bit thin and the material feels like it is moving inside the comforter casing, which I do not like, and it is very lightweight, which is great if you heat up easily like I do. If you are looking for a heavy weight comforter this is not it. However, I have yet to sleep in it though it is microfiber, it tends to hold in the warmth more. ... show more
