Pain in the ass to replace but well worth it cause its going to be over 100 degrees this summer. Bolted right up, make sure to dump out the PAG oil inside the compressor and put in 3-4 oz of new stuff before installing. About a 5-6 hour job with common tools and without jacking up the car. With car parts, you get what you pay for and that is the case with this compressor. After taking it to the shop for it to be installed a couple months ago, it worked fine for a couple of weeks, A/C was moderately cold, given it was in 90+ degree weather. One day it just started to lose its ability to make the cabin of the car cold so I thought maybe it needed some refrigerant, that wasn’t the case. I brought it back to the shop and they recharged the system. Then it still wouldn’t get as cold as it should be. They then checked the power being put out by the compressor and realized it was below the desired level. So now it gets cool, not cold, as it can’t properly run the A/C system. So if you’re thinking about getting this, probably don’t. Of course this would all take place after the refund period passed. ... show more

Works perfectly in my 07 Civic Si. AC is nice and cold now. After a couple years of the AC intermittently deciding to stop blowing cold air on the hottest days the AC is working perfectly now. I had it installed a local shop.
