I feel like this 2 pack is a good value for money. I use one as a mouse pad on my desk at work and the other when my large cutting mat is too big. It feels a bit stiff and I don't know how much extra wear my premium knives experience. Time will tell. I received a comment from my wife that when unwrapped the cutting mat had a stinking manufacturing smell. A very plasticy off gassing scent. I hope this will diminish over time quickly ... show more

I bought this to be able to see small photo etch details more clearly and it works perfect for that. I found the green ones and the blue ones too dark and I couldn't see the parts as I was cutting them loose from the sheets they come attached to. This pad solved the problem, if you find yourself working with very small fine detail parts and you have trouble seeing them with the different color pads, try with this one. I use the mats for a hole punch and punched a bunch of holes through my old mat. Wanted to get two to stack them and prevent punching through one and damaging my punch (again). Great deal for a two pack and they do the job.
