The chukka run wide. There is no lateral support for your foot because the leather is thin and bags on the sides of your foot.. The leather on the sides of the shoe is dry and has a crackled appearance I find cheap looking. The shoe has a two tone look with the tooled top section a darker brown then the lighter tan sides. I applied leather cream to moisturize and soften the light tan sides and this darkened the color to closer match the tooled top section . Like any other pair I've owned it did take a couple of blisters to break them in. But now that I did they're as comfortable as ever. The flower design is a little more orange than I'd have liked. I'd have liked it more if it was more of white than orange or if it were darker. But other than that they're super cute and super comfortable! I walk a mile to school everyday and a mile across campus once or twice and my ropers are always my favorite shoes for the long days on my feet. ... show more

The cactus on the sides is much brighter than the pix. The colors of the cactus & flowers really standout. I had really wanted some shoes with cactus or desert motif, but most were meh. While I won't normally pay this much for shoes, I'm so glad I did. Very happy.

These are really comfy shoes with a good sole and very comfy. A little annoying is unless you double knot the laces they come undone but not a big deal at all. I have worn these as my house shoes and occasionally out and about shoes for almost a year. Unfortunately, today I was walking and felt something start poking the back of my heel. The back heel support, that took some getting used to, had just broke. They are now extremely uncomfortable and I wish I could get that heel insert out. They lasted just shy of a year of everyday wear so that's not terrible, but I'm still bummed. ... show more

Absolutely love Twisted X shoes, but could never have them last more than six months without them ripping apart. The cellstretch have lasted a year and are holding strong to everyday wear. Riding, mucking stalls, etc.

    • Nice boot but stiff around the ankle

I really like these boots but the area around the ankle is really stiff, to the point I almost can’t wear them for an entire work day. Everything else about the boot is comfortable and I’m hoping they relax the more I wear them.
