I purchased the 3 mm width in size 6. I gave this product 5 stars because it is exactly as described. It has a mirror-like polish and is extremely comfortable to wear. The dome height is just right—I can close my adjacent fingers comfortably, as if nothing is between them. The ring has the typical characteristics of tungsten: a satisfying weight and a distinctive dark “gunmetal” color. The sizing appears to be accurate, and overall, it seems to be a high-quality item. However, if you are not familiar with tungsten, you might be disappointed if your expectations are different. Here are a few questions you may want to consider before purchasing: *****Do you like tungsten’s distinctive dark undertone?***** Some people love it, but if your goal is to have a ring that looks like white gold, silver, or platinum, this may not meet your expectations. (See the image for the color comparison.) *****White tungsten or regular tungsten?***** I also considered buying “white tungsten,” which is supposed to be less dark in color. However, I learned that white tungsten is typically a tungsten ring with a plated finish. This means that over time, the original darker tungsten color may show through as the thin coating wears off. In addition, plated tungsten does not have the same level of scratch resistance as solid, unplated tungsten. For these reasons, I chose the ring without plating. *****Will you wear it alone or with other rings?***** Because of the color difference, tungsten may not match well with other silver-colored rings. However, I think the darker shine of a tungsten band contrasts beautifully with white stones (diamonds or cubic zirconia), especially when paired with an eternity-style ring, enhancing the brilliance of the stones. Since tungsten is much harder than most jewelry metals, it may scratch softer metals if worn directly next to them. For this reason, I would avoid pairing it with an expensive ring. *****Do you want a ring you can wear during daily activities without worrying about scratches or tarnish?***** If so, this is a great choice. My spouse is very active and has worn a tungsten ring for a year without taking it off, and it still shines like a mirror. I chose tungsten for its scratch-resistant properties—I use my hands a lot, handling cast-iron pans, loading bikes onto the car, and engaging in outdoor activities. So far, the ring has held up very well. *****Are you willing to trade scratch resistance for brittleness?***** Tungsten is very scratch-resistant, but it can be brittle and may crack if dropped on a hard surface. This has never happened with our rings, so I’m not sure how much impact would actually be needed to cause damage. Additionally, tungsten rings cannot be resized due to their extreme hardness and brittle nature. Overall: If you appreciate tungsten for what it is—durable, substantial, and uniquely colored—this ring is an excellent value and a reliable everyday option. ... show more

A few weeks ago, I lost my gold wedding band! Over 42 years on my finger constantly and one day it just slipped off. 🥲😏 I’m planning to replace it with another gold band, but I wanted to try this ring as a wider (10mm vs. my previous 6mm band) option. I received the gold, comfort fit, 10mm Tungsten Carbide ring today and immediately tried it on. Perfect fit, it looks great and it’s absolutely comfortable! I used a ring sizer before I ordered it. The size 13 felt comfortable, so that’s what I went with. Absolutely the right choice, as the ring is true to size. I’m sure this ring will hold up for many years to come. Sizing was a little off from how we measured but we were able to get sizes that fit well. The ring has a classic look and feels comfortable. I wear it every day and often times forget that I have it on. It's been about a year and it hasn't lost its shine.
