Kinda complicated to setup, at first. Has a lot of nice features, and car feels like it comes up on boost quicker. Haven't tried the built-in "scramble" feature, to change from low boost to high boost at the push of a button, but I am looking forward to it, lol. First one lasted all of about 4 seconds before quitting never to power up again. Thankfully amazon's return policy/service is good to deal with. Had to wait through the weekend to get the replacement, but it's working fine now. Have driven the car several times and no issues... must have just gotten a bad box as my experience with Turbosmart in the past has been good (not cheap crap). I bought this for the adjustable boost vs. RPM. Not very many EBC's still do this. Sure I could do it with my factory ECU (EVO 8 I switched to SD / tephra v7). The factory boost control works good.. but I wanted something I don't have to drag my laptop out to make a quick adjustment. ... show more

A must item for anyone wanting to control turbo lag and total boost pressure. Installation difficulties may occur with getting wiring and tubes through the firewall for the controller. If you can install a car stereo, you can install this product. You will see a difference in responsiveness and overall acceleration. Be sure to know you particular turbo's max boost pressure so you don't destroy your turbo. ... show more

Needed this controller due to boost lost above 5500 rpm in my custom turbo RX8. Very easy install, controls user friendly. Works better than expected. now holding boost all the way to 9000rpm Highly recommend if loosing boost at high rpm or if your looking for a great boost control.
