The microfiber hair towels are actually really important for maintaining hair integrity. The towels are soft and remove water without drying out the hair. The towels easy to use for short or longer hair and the design with the loop in the back of the head secures the towel in place until you want to remove it! Which means it doesn’t randomly fall off when you bend over or move your head. The towels are compact enough for me to bring with when traveling, because let’s face it, a hotel never has enough towels and when they do the towels often dry you out from the repeated bleaching. I’ve owned a cotton set since 2009 that really had to go, so I ordered these microfiber ones (thinking they were cotton because I clearly can’t read!). I almost returned them and I’m glad I didn’t! They’re super soft and just like the cotton ones. They’re the perfect size whether my hair is short or past my shoulder blades. They help to soak up a ton of the water in my hair. I purchased the turbie twist 2 pack as I finally had to replace my old turbie towel. I loved that it was a 2 pack as I was able to give one of them to my mom. They work great and are easy to use. When I purchased these I had fairly long hair (past my shoulder blades) I have since chopped my hair off. (just barley chin length) and it still works with the short hair.
