We got this for our family when they come to visit. We have a guest room but no space for family and friends to hang their things because the closets are filled with linens and our personal belongings. So to accommodate them, we got this so they can have a place to put their things and wouldn’t have to live out of their bags for the time they’re here with us. The assembly wasn’t to bad. I shocked and intrigued with how everything fit in the packaging it came in. Lol. The instructions were easy to follow and it didn’t long at all. Great sturdy space saver for sure. I will have to let you know though, we haven’t tried to test it to it’s limits, meaning completely filling it up with stuff because we’ve haven’t had the need too yet. But the most clothes I’ve seen my family hang was probably 12 hangers at once, along with 3 pairs of shoes, 1 set of sandals, 2 towels, and a few purses and bag. Everything held up nicely.

Oh my . . . my husband opened the box and, literally, put it aside for a LONG TIME. The box is filled to the brim with bits of plastic tubing. It all fit together in the end but it took awhile to figure everything out. Your best bet in putting it together is to find a large area, lay everything out organized by size, and go from there. It does work well and holds a lot of different laundry items. I especially love the shelving since some tops can't be hung on a hanger without leaving shoulder bumps.

The ad does state that the rack is made of metal, but I did not find that to be the case which was a bit of a let down. Putting it together wasn't bad, but the instructions could have definitely been clearer. Once I finally got it put together, I liked that it was light and could be moved easily. The structure isn't bad and it does hold laundry, but the plastic is concerning. I was pretty diligent with putting things on as I didn't want to knock it over or mess up the stretched fabric which serves as the shelves. The hanging hooks worked for me, but I am concerned with putting too much on it.

I was in need of a garment rack for my home and decided to give the TUOKING Garment Rack a try. I found the assembly to be moderately easy, but the instructions were poor and could have been clearer. I would advise laying out all the parts first before beginning assembly, taking care not to bend the metal rods, and wearing gloves to avoid cuts from the metal. One pro of this rack is its versatility, with parts that can be adjusted to fit your needs. The material used is sturdy and it is easy to move when empty, but it can become wobbly when heavier clothes are hung on it. I was disappointed to find that the rack was smaller than I had anticipated, and it felt overpriced for the quality of the product. The metal rods are thin and can snap easily and I am worried that the cloth/paper shelving material may not hold up well in the long run. If you are considering this rack, I would suggest verifying the size beforehand to make sure it fits your needs and purchasing mounting hardware for added safety. Assembly can be time-consuming, so clear your schedule accordingly. I also found it helpful to use a mallet to tap together the plastic pieces. In conclusion, while the TUOKING Garment Rack has some benefits, it may not be the best choice for heavy-duty use or for those who need a larger rack.

The media could not be loaded. When I first saw the picture for this garment rack, I thought it would be good for my garage/workshop area. Pardon my messy garage, but you can see that I have it pretty well loaded with Large t-shirts, jacket and a hockey jersey. I will say right off the bat, once together and loaded with stuff, it is pretty sturdy. It won't stand up too much knocking it over, but if left alone, it will do as advertised. Assembly was like a puzzle; you may need to clear your schedule. You get it in a box about the size of a shoe box, filled with thin sharp aluminum rods and about 60 plastic pieces. The instructions are just some pictures that seem to be step 1, 2, 13, and you're finished. I like puzzles, so carry on. I posted a video with some highlights with my worries as I was building it. The plastic pieces need to be tapped together with a mallet - the thing is so tight with the material that acts as shelves, if it's not all the way together, you may have some more structural problems. If you don't use a mallet, wear gloves, the ends of the rods will cut into your hands if you let them. The shelving material is like a very thin cloth/paper that's glued at the ends to make loops. When you get it together, the shelves are like drum heads. I don't feel like this kind of material holds up to the elements well. It is working well right now, but I have doubts about the long-term. I did expect it to be a little larger, maybe taller than I am 6 feet tall (183cm) and hoped it would be taller than me. I went back to the description and it is exactly the size stated. If you're interested in this, be sure you verify the size is what you want. At the end of the day, I have my craftsmanship questions about and which things were done a little different, maybe some decisions were made to save money on their end, but it is still up and holding my stuff in the garage, which is it's only job.
