I painted this one for my niece and put my own touches on it. The kit was pretty decent. Standard brushes but I use my own. Paints were smooth and colors were pretty close to what was pictured, in fact I liked the colors provided alittle more. Canvas was decent and numbers were legible but I paint all my pieces with a magnifier due to being older. Overall I give this one a 5 and recommend. ... show more

I bought this for my son. He loves the gift. It’s an impressive kit with a silky smooth surface. This makes the paint easier to apply. The colors are vibrant. I loved working on this picture and hope to find more by the same designer.

    • If you like "old west" decor, this will be right at home with your other cowboy decor.

This isn't a picture of an actual revolver, but it still looks good on the wall. It's not that hard to paint, but it does have a lot of little panels and takes awhile to finish. I don't mind it because I'm in no hurry to finish, so I like this picture. If you like the old west, or guns, you'll enjoy painting this one. ... show more

The paint is not opaque. You have to do multiple, 3+ coats for an even layer. The 'canvas' is smooth and doesn't grip the paint well. The numbers aren't even correct in some places. There are solid parts that have 2 different numbers in the spot but...no line to break the numbers up. The print of the design is so faded that I can't even tell some of the numbers in a lot of areas. I won't be buying this brand again. ... show more

this is a very pretty paint by numbers. it was easy to read, and it wasnt a difficult painting. the paints are smooth and even. it would make a nice gift for anyone that loves to paint, or a beginner.

I do a lot of these paintings. This one had a few issues. It was not as life like as they made it look in the pictures. There are a few spots, where the sections are too small for any brush. This causes the lines to not look crisp and almost blurred. It was a good project though.
