Okay so this product has 5% benzoyl peroxide so it can make your face red. Ive been using it for a week and when I first got it I applied it 3 times a day to my problem areas. I have hormonal acne on my chin and really went hard there and I noticed irritation and flaking. I have dialed it back to 1-2 times a day and a good moisturizer. I will say that I recovered well. I would probably buy this product again as I do think it works but be aware of your skin sensitivity and maybe start off with once a day followed by a moisturizer after it dries. ... show more

This is my second time buying this Tula spot treatment. I’m 29 and just started experiencing pretty awful acne on my cheeks and jawline about 5 months ago. Never in my life have I had acne like this. It’s been a total confidence crusher. I’ve spent so much time researching the best products to help my face, and I’ve thrown away TONS of money on products that let me down every single time. For that reason, I almost didn’t buy this Tula spot treatment... $20 for a little tube was hard to justify after I had already spent so much on nothing. I bought this strictly based off the reviews. AND I’M SO THANKFUL I DID! This is the only thing I have found so far that’s been able to help. I use it way more than I probably should. I cover just about my whole jawline and cheek (a little goes a long way) around 3 times a day. I definitely use quite a bit, but I have been able to see a pretty noticeable difference! I’d say my face is about 85% better than it was before I started using this. Its not 100%, but way better than the 0% I was seeing with everything else I’ve tried! I would recommend new users starting off with just a little bit though. I also would recommend getting a good moisturizer to use as well, so this doesn’t dry your face out too bad. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars, is because I just received my second tube of it yesterday, 6/31/2020, and the expiration date printed on the box says 08/2020. Seeing as this stuff isn’t super cheap, it should last longer than one month. Fortunately I use a lot of it so it should be ok, but it should still last longer than a month. I had an oil pocket and before it was even visible I put a dab of this cream on and it completely disappeared within three days! A little bit of this product goes a long way. I’m very happy with the outcome and will be re-purchasing again!

I really like this acne treatment. I’m an old lady, but still get spot acne. I thought getting old would stop that! Anyway, this works great without totally drying out your skin. You only need to use a small amount, and probably only every other day.

After experiencing a breakout that was more than the occasional whitehead, I was so happy to find this product. The keys are to be patient (as in not expect results within hours) and consistent. After one week of twice daily use, all the zits that had popped up were gone. It did wonders on preventing hyperpigmentation too. I found applying my moisturizing serum then spf moisturizer first was key. Then dab the Tula applicator directly on the blemish and go about your day. To be honest, it didn’t allow for seamless use of concealers or foundation but it was probably better to let my skin heal and breathe without heavy makeup on.
