My dog loves to explore and circle me, and this leash never twists or gets stuck. The retracting mechanism is smooth and the lock button responds quickly when I need to shorten the leash near cars or other dogs. I’ve been using this 26ft retractable dog leash for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m impressed. The thickness of the leash is great for my dog. I've never had to worry about it breaking. It feels sturdy and well-made, which is consistent with my other TUG products. The durability is definitely a standout feature; it’s held up well even with daily use and a lot of tugging from my energetic pup. I also love the style- it has a sleek, modern look. The grip is comfortable and secure, even during longer walks, which is a big plus for me. That said, I had to knock off one star for a couple of reasons. Occasionally, the leash doesn’t fully retract, which can be a bit frustrating when I’m trying to keep things tidy or need to quickly shorten the lead. Also, it’s a bit on the heavy side, which might not be ideal for smaller hands or longer outings.     • A good product that performs as advertised!

This is a good product that does everything that as advertised: it is retractable - easily going from full-length to a few feet and back out again, it is tangle resistant which has come in very handy a few times. It is both strong enough to restrain my 60 pound strong girl, but not overpowering.

This leash works great for my small dog (pug)! I moved from a standard leash to this extending leash and it's a game changer on our walks. The retractable portion of the leash is SO smooth, no kinks or snags. The leash feels sturdy and well made. I love the handle; it feels ergonomic in my hand. It isn't heavy at all. The design of the leash is perfect. The absolute hands down best part of this leash is the optional additional of the bite guard extension. My pug gets so excited to take walks that he bites the lower portion of his leash that is attached to his harness and shakes it around.
