loveeee these boots. they look so pretty when riding. disclaimer.. they are going to be taller than you expect but that’s because they’re not broken in yet. the calf part runs maybe slightly big and i got the slim. so if you’re generally a pretty small person i’d say get extra slim. there’s a little bit extra room in my boots but it doesn’t affect my riding or look/ feel uncomfortable or weird. the sole is SO comfy it’s like memory foam or something. but it feels like i’m stepping on a bed when i walk. i wish all my shoes had these soles. but they’re very good quality for the price. most boots that sell for this price i’ve found are cheap looking but these are so pretty. also get a half a size up cause they’re going to be a little tight on the toe but not to worry they’ll loosen up when they’re broken in

These boots look extremely nice. They are very comfy straight out of the box. I was loving them until the zipper split open at some point during a show, not sure when, hopefully not til after I was done showing. I was able to unzip them and then properly zip them back up, so hopefully it was a one time thing. I do have very large calves so it’s not that crazy that it happened. Hopefully they will be fine next show! UPDATE: at a show last weekend, after wearing them for the second time, the zipper had the same problem but it happened on both boots this time. Soooo sad. They are so nice and comfy. It's really upsetting that I will have to replace them after only wearing them twice. I bought them in the off season so I had them for several months before wearing them so I assume they cannot be returned. I was able to get the zipper unzipped (with my boyfriends help) and was able to zip them back up properly again so will probably use them one last time this season. SO sad =[ Update 2: I took the boots to a tailor and he realigned the zipper teeth. All has been well since.

Great value in tall boots. I bought for schooling but they look nice enough for show. Extremely comfortable and fit beautifully, even on my slim legs. I hate boots that gap or wrinkle uncomfortably at ankles. Elastic strip & various calf width choices make these a wonderful choice. They are holding up well, too, even in daily use.

I was so excited to love these - loved the look (especially for the price point), they were super comfy, zipped easily and fit very well straight out of the box. I wore them walking around my house for no more than 30 minutes to start "breaking them in" before riding in them, and the entire zipper on the left boot just split completely open. To be clear - it was not a struggle for me to zip up the boots, they did not feel tight etc...it is simply very poor craftsmanship. Upon further inspection the sole also appears to be glued on, and not very well. I really thought I was going to love these when I opened them and first put them on, but I guess this was a "you get what you pay for" scenario.

I ordered these for showing, and overall they are great! They are true to size, although the ankles may be a bit big (I have tiny ankles). They smell SO good, nice soft leather that comes with that "broken in feel". They stick to my stirrups nicely, and move with me very well while riding. Overall a nice show boot for an affordable price!

Tuffrider Belmont Field boots are extremely comfortable & reasonably priced. The sole is padded with memory foam. The leather is so soft & flexible that I experienced no break-in period. The fit & felt great right out of the box.

Second time I ordered these boots, again with a defective zipper. Such a shame, the dress boot version of this is perfect and feel instantly broken in and are super comfortable. Keeping my dress boots, obviously, but really bummed to have to send these back yet again.

These are very nice boots at a very nice price. Super soft, flexible leather, with what looks like quality construction. Came with replacement laces and inflatable boot trees, too. However, I needed to order down a half-size. I originally ordered a 6.5 (my usual size in most shoes and boots) and they were HUGE in the foot...they fit more like a 7.5 or even an 8. The 6 fits well; still a tiny bit long in the foot, but I can put up with it. So, order accordingly if you're interested in these boots.
