This collar was lovely. Well made, attractive and sturdy. Unfortunately, it was too small for the very small dog I bought it for. The next size up is way too wide for her. I had bought both sizes for her and my beagle, but neither are going to work. I wish they had the next size up in the same width as the extra small. Alas, they do not. I was going to send them both back but I saw where they would make a donation to rescue dogs for every one they sell, so I am going to keep them and gift them at some point or maybe some day I will have a dog they will fit. ... show more

We needed a new and sturdy collar that didn’t loosen every day at the clasp. This one has a buckle closure so there is no way for it to loosen. Our dog is a big boy, 90 lbs and a broad fluffy neck and the collar was true to size. The green is a gorgeous winter green and feels extremely well made. This collar has survived multiple grabs from our other dog when they play. Even when they're done playing, the collar still looks brand new! My one critique is that the collar is long which leaves the remaining end sticking out at times as it slips out of the ring. This is the second collar that we’ve bought for our lab. (There was absolutely nothing wrong with the first one- I just wanted to switch the color). It is so durable and holds up well. I love the waterproof collar. It looks great and is clearly a well made product. I have a large black lab. The red collar looks great on him. He's in lake water on Cape Cod whenever he has the opportunity. No more smelly pond water collars. The provider boasts a lifetime guarantee. However, you must access the website using a particular URL. Once you get to the URL target, there are no instructions for registration. After wandering around the website awhile, there is a large button and other promising goodies, that say "Activate registration". This leads you to another page with no instructions and no clue as to how to register. I think of it as a button to nowhere. Now mind you, I do not think I will ever need to use the guarantee because this collar is so well made. However, some of the reviews indicate problems. So I think it is best to register.
