This was my second order for these TruVision readers. I lost a pair and broke a pair-my fault. These glasses are very clear. Very little distortion. Very resistant to scratches. Worth the extra money over less expensive glasses.

I'm hard on glasses, scratching, breaking, losing, etc. I've purchased these glasses several times because they are inexpensive and hold up reasonably well to my abuse, except for the frames, which break. The break is always above the right side lens near the center nose bridge, usually after several months of use I'll still buy them, unless I find a better option, since they resist scratching better than many others I have owned and are inexpensive to replace when I lose them or crush them while working. ... show more

Left ear piece almost falling off because screw was threaded crocked. Found screw glued it in..Probably won’t stay to heather very long have not looked at the other two pairs of glasses just using one at a time. Defective from factory.. would like another pair if possible..Jim

Most of the inexpensive reading glasses I have purchased have lasted about as long as the price suggests, However, at less than $7 a pair, these glasses are a cut above the competition. They are more attractive and last until I lose them. Most inexpensive reading glasses seem to fall apart rather quickly. ... show more

I was having a hard time reading my computer monitor and decided it was time to get new readers. There are many different manufacturers and, frankly, these TruVision readers are more expensive than most. While I was working, I would go to Costco, buy a three pack, and discard them after they were scratched enough to make it hard reading, about a month for each pair. These readers are about $12 more expensive and I think they are going to be worth the money. The first thing I noticed is that the frames are a lot more substantial. They don't feel cheap. The fit, for me, is excellent. Lens clarity is what I would expect. It seems unusual that they also come in .25 power increases. At Costco and drugstores they are usually .5. The kicker was a follow-up thank you e-mail the day after I received them. Do I think the co-founder of TruVision sat down and wrote a thank you note after being notified that I had received her product? Or, do I think someone sat down and wrote a computer sub-routine that would generate a thank you note after being informed by another sub-routine that it's product had been delivered? Absolutely! It was just a thank you note and here I am going on and on about it. That is how unusual a thank-you note is. And by that thank you sticking in my mind I will probably go back (as long as there are no massive failures in the glasses) and buy from TruVision again. ... show more
