Recently started getting into fountain pens and needed a spot to store all of my ink cartridges. This is perfect! I was first inspired by the Toyo steel boxes. This is pretty much exactly the same, also made in Japan, but half the price. The blue color is really pretty and the quality looks and feels amazing. It opens and closes very smoothly. This is a great little box. The friction-fit lid closes securely, it comes in fun colors, and is very sturdily-built. I actually purchased this to use as a box to store my watercolor paints for travel, but changed my mind after getting it as it is a little heavy for that purpose. However, it is a very versatile size and I have repurposed it for brush/pen storage in my little studio. Even though it doesn't work for what I bought it for, I'm happy I bought it as it is built like a tank and comes in at a lower price than a lot of similar containers. It's small but I love it. It was pricey, but if I could afford more I would have more. I'm always finding a new use for it. Definitely a great gift for people who love tools or even for an artist's tools. Holds like 20 larger bic lighters or like I dunno, maybe 40 pencils?
