    • You better have small fletching/ vanes
Because the diameter of this biscuit is one of the smallest on the market. It is common to see a 50mm opening. However, this is 40mm. So, let me tell you what will happen, in many instances. At least one vane will kiss the ring on exit (even if sporadically), and this will throw your shot. Why is this? Most vanes on most shafts, once installed, will have an overall spinning diameter on the shaft which exceeds 40mm. When will it not be an issue? When you have low-profile vanes on your arrows. And ONLY in this instance. There is nothing wrong with using biscuits to hunt, I do it all the time. But you should decide whether you want to re-fletch all your arrows with like, Bohning X3's or something, just so you can buy and use this product... or just buy a bigger biscuit. Again, nothing wrong with this biscuit, other than it has a small aperture. ... show more

    • Samick Sage requires 5/16x24 thread bolt
I had to get 5-16x24 thread bolt, the included bolt didn't fit the Sages bushing. Had to turn the bracket over and round so the windage cap screw doesn't knock into my thumb every release, and on the Sage I've got it almost touching the riser to get alignment. Regardless, so far it works well enough, I'll probably have to switch to vinyl fletching because the whiskers are hard on feathers, I welcome comments or recommendations. ... show more
