The passenger side control arm was fine. The driver's side control arm was another story. The rubber boot over the ball joint was not attached when I opened the package. I was able to reseat it, but it came loose at some point during the installation. It wasn't until I was wrapping up the install that I saw the boot had come off again. I tried to reseat it, but it was impossible after it was installed. There is a small gap in spots between the bottom of the boot and the ball joint, which is acceptable for the short term. I am out of time and need to get the car back to my son, so I have no choice but to replace the control arm again in a couple of months when the weather is warmer. ... show more
