Installed in a 2001 Boxster S, front left. I had no issues with this product. Make sure you take the wheel off when it’s time to install new one, makes for much easier install. Worked for me and no more noises heard. Time will tell its durability.

I got mine from the deeper discounted like new but with Packaging defects, I only paid 40 bucks for the whole assembly, and I can tell you it was worth every dollar even if it was the $19 I had it installed today and it appears to have gone flawlessly and at least at this point seems to have fixed the problem I'm assuming I will have to do the other side here fairly soon I will definitely be looking at trq first Update 9/19/25 I just brought the passenger control arm assembly and I bought it with the strut assembly also from trq, they both came in the same package, the strut looks like it was run over by a forklift literally that or a delivery truck one of the two it is bent beyond recognition, I only say that because the control arm appears to be in good order, the ball joint was pushed hard over even with the plastic clip and the clip is broken that covers it but the ball joint appears to function as described and the control arm seems to be in good order wish I could say the same for the strut I'm a little worried about the ball joint because it was obviously run over just like the strut but as far as I can tell it fared better than the strut did the strut appears to have taken the entire Brunt of the vehicle because that's what it was unless they put it in a car crusher. ... show more

I'M NOT SURE AS TO THE LONGTERM ENDURANCE AND QUALITY OF THE CONTROL ARMS MAINLY WHERE THE BALLJOINTS ARE CONCERNED. THE SHIPPING WAS VERY FAST... ORDERED THE PART AND IT LITERALLY CAME IN TWO DAYS...LIKE ALOT OF OTHER AFTERMARKET PARTS TIME WILL TELL. FOR NOW ALL IS GOOD. I GUESS YOU HAVE TO CALL THIS AN UPDATE I HAVE A WARRANTY ISSUE AND AUTOBUFFY requested a refund from amazon on my behalf...thank you ... show more
