I've been using this for several months now and I love this helmet so much! It is very comfortable and modifiable to your head size. Its not too hot for summer and it is just enough warmth for winter. I love that it is also eyewear and ponytail hairstyle friendly. Very nice aesthetically pleasing helmet. Went with this one vs Ovation bc of the mips technology. Great price point for safety features and aesthetic. Comfortable and I can wear my ponytail comfortably. Pretty true to size. I wear a L in most helmets and hats and this one was no different.

Troxel makes great helmets. True to size. This black one is no exception. Easy adjustment. *Lightweight *comfortable * No shine. (Better if you have a reactionary Horse) * Not overly large looking like some helmets. Draw back: Troxel helmets no longer come with a chin strap cover. Bummer. Fits great and looks good. Haven't fallen off the horse or gotten kicked yet so I cannot speak to the protection it provides but MIPS the latest and greatest so I would get a MIPS technology helmet if you need a replacement.

Excellent value for MIPS technology, which I wanted. Helmets protect against skull fracture, MIPS protects against concussion. This helmet fits my head shape well and is comfortable to ride in. I did have to exchange a medium for a small, but once I found the right size I was very happy.
