So glad to have this. I moved 3 times last year, and run a small Etsy business. It's not hard to switch out my name or the business name. The product was actually pretty easy to use, the tweezers did help me A LOT. You do need steady hands though, and it seems my nails also helped me a lot. I was glad to see that the letters and such were sturdy enough to withstand my constant prodding with nails and grabbing with tweezers, without messing with the type in any way. I have a tip though, to make blocking lines easier. I placed the top line exactly how I wanted it, then I set up the next line on the clear lid of the letter boxes. I then held the lid up to the first line, and found where I wanted to start and end the next line. I continued this way, using the previous placed line to guide the next. Photos as shown. There is one box of large type and one box of smaller, with icons of sorts included e. g. a telephone, smiley face, hourglass, envelope, etc. ... show more

The stamp itself works fine, but the ink in it doesn't dry and smears forever. I bought to stamp expiration dates and coupon codes on rack card discount cards on the back which are a matte finish. Even stamping 30 and laying them out to dry before restacking them was not long enough for them to dry. Then I stamped some (and they smeared all over the place and were hardly legible) and restacked them anyways (had let them dry like 5 minutes) and they still smeared and 5 days later when I was passing them out my hands were black from the ink (which after much handwashing are still black). This stamp is totally worthless to me and my business because it is unusable on anything except something like construction paper. ... show more

    • Very Difficult
This is very difficult to add your own address, the letters are really small and very tedious to work with even with included plastic tweezers. Directions are not very explicit (maybe my fault) but make sure you add letters from right to left. I did left to right and completed the whole thing before I realized it was wrong. Also make sure you put in the ink cartridge upside down with the ink on bottom, directions didn't state that. I also added it wrong and was so difficult to take out and change. Not a very pretty address label once completed. I ordered a different one on line already done with nice font. I threw everything away, what a piece of garbage. ... show more

I absolutely LOVE this stamp. I'm a teacher and I want to be able to stamp student work when it's completed so they can have full credit, but when I don't want students to turn it in yet. However, I don't want them to be able to copy the type of stamp I'm using. I love that I can customize the message on this stamp. It's extremely easy to use, comes with its own self-inking pad, tweezers (to grab the individual letters for customization), and comes with PLENTY of letters. ... show more

The stamper works fine and does include the letters and tweezers as described BUT nothing is labeled "Trodat" or "Printy" The bottom half of the stamper is grey and appears to be a GENERIC copy of the Trodat Printy. The letters are a little delicate so be careful, they do however provide enough to replace a few if they get damaged. I haven't tried changing the ink pad yet but I notice there are little wings that stick out on the Trodat 4912 refill and this ink pad has flat edges on all 4 sides. I hope I will not have a problem with changing to a red ink pad. I am a bit disappointed that Amazon sold me a knock off and I paid full price for a "Trodat Printy" ... show more

This is great! I send out around 350 letters to customers every month. I HATE hand writing something on that many letters. It is the worst. This made my life 1000% easier. It takes a little time to put the letters in place. Worth it though.

    • Totally worth the price.
No more buying new stamps that can't be redone at $30 each. With a little care and a steady hand this makes it possible for me to make any changes in addresses, account numbers, instructions, etc. myself with no waiting and no extra expense. Tip: spred a smooth plain dish towel on the work surface when you are handling tiny letters/numbers. If you drop one it won't go far and you can find it again. Also, use regular metal tweezers. The plastic ones that come with this are too short and too flexible to give you good control. ... show more
