This is my first time buying a trimmer. I was not sure what to expect but was tired of shaving it all down there, I always afraid of being cut and the post shave itching was unbearable. THIS IS THE BEST!! It’s much safer because it trims your sensitive area, not rough on the skin like a razor. I never knew how to properly maintain things down there but after doing some research, I found that trimmers were the most recommended. This one is perfect. For starters I used the largest guard, and then immediately went down another and another. I never got cut, it was super safe and easy to use- even in the areas you can’t really see. I highly recommend this trimmer, it is 100% beginner friendly. I did not use it in the shower, but it is marketed as waterproof. It was super quick to use on the whole area down there, as compared to a traditional razor shave in the shower having to lift a leg and all that lol. The razor end cuts close, I tested it on my bikini line. I thought it had some lather but it really doesn’t. You do need some shaving cream when using the razor end. What drew me to this product besides the wonderful reviews and the simplicity of a trimmer, was that the razor ingredients were not harmful. I am very careful with the products I use, especially in private sensitive area. The Schick Hydro Silk pubic refills are rated 93/100 on Yuka- amazing! New HOLY GRAIL product. I can keep it all neat down there, not worry about razor burn or itchiness, and it’s incredibly effective while easy to use. I did wish it came in a travel pouch or case of some sort but I keep it in the clear zip bag it came in for storage ... show more

The only trainer I trust to shave with. It’s worth the price and I’ve bought three since I was twenty. They are durable and waterproof. It takes one AAA battery and it last quite a while. It’s easy to clean and easy to use.

I can speak only to my experiences with this product. This razor / trimmer isn't going to work for every single person alive, because our bodies and likes are all different. So I can't promise you this will work for you. I, personally, have been buying these razors for years. I'll never buy another one so long as they don't change them. They do what they claim to do. I get a very, very close shave, the blades last a long time, the trimmer does a fantastic job, and yes, there is a moisturizing quality as well. Does the moisturizing gel on the blade last forever? No, it doesn't, especially if you get soap on the blade. But it will last a long time, and even if you have to start using shaving gel in the end, I haven't found the razor to be any less effective. Cleaning the blade is simple, but yes, it will eventually dull, as all blades do. That's not a defect of this product. It's just a fact of all razors. I have very coarse hair, so it's possible my blades may dull faster than others, but they still last a long, long time. The device is definitely waterproof, and the battery on the trimmer is well protected from any water damage. It, too, lasts a long time. I've found this razoe is great for traveling, but beware. There is no cover for the blade. I'm not taking a star off for this, because no cover was advertised. Just wrap the blade up carefully and store the razor. I've purchased these to leave in different places when I travel, and I've found that each and every one is worth the money spent and more.
