We’ve been living with black IKEA furniture which we’d grown tired of over the years. Nothing wrong with it, we just wanted a lighter and less-tall storage solution in our living room. We saw some reviews mentioned shipping damage - the boxes we received were alarmingly thin, but none of our pieces were damaged. There were a few tiny scratches on one piece that we were able to use a wood-pen on to hide. Assembly was not too hard - it took about 30 minutes for the first one, and 20 for the rest, and another 20 at the end to align all the door hinges. We’re very happy, and can’t wait to move all our stuff. We have a lot of vinyl records, and they just barely fit depth-wise. There is a small support beam in the middle-back that makes full size records jut out in the middle, so we’ll use bookends to support the records and leave a little space in the middle. ... show more

The chests look great in my living room. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is bc assembly was tidious….not hard just a lot of parts. But I’m the end it’s worth it. Also I received it 2 days earlier than expected! Ordering another set very soon.
