This desk is amazing in the fact that it really is worth exactly what it cost. It is not high quality but it is functional. It came well packaged with only minor scuffs in some pieces. The metal is amazingly cheap but comes together and is sturdy enough. I would recommend assembling by hand and tightening only until the metal begins to bend. The included tools were good, although the screwdriver could have been longer. Obvious alignment flaws but just to the point I reminded myself it cost $180. The pieces do have a preferred direction so forget trying to put the nice sides facing out. Every piece I tried it on I had to flip around to get a better fit. I put it together in about an hour on my own and I really am amazed. It is a nice desk for the kids. It is sturdy enough for their school computers but I had to warn them to absolutely not sit on it. It is lightweight to move around. You would have to disassemble the desk if you ever wanted to move it to a new house though. Overall, I absolutely recommend as long as you understand you are getting something worth exactly what you paid for it. It's tall enough for an adult, but is working great for my son's (8 & 4) with taller chairs. This work station was very easy to assemble. It took myself less than 1 hour to complete. I did use a drill to assist when screwing in the work tops. A few things I'll make note of: 1 - the package came with corner protectors! I'm very happy with that. It'll definitely help keep my walls safe. 2 - there are a few areas where the bars don't match up perfectly where I'll need to fill in with putty or paint to make it look pretty. 3 - I wish the middle shelf was all solid wood instead of a grid panel. I'm going to have to get/make a liner for this shelf so my stuff doesn't fall through. 4 - although the screwheads don't face out, some are still visible and silver. This is completely cosmetic, but I'll probably paint them white. DL/DR: Good product, 1 hour to assemble, fairly sturdy, a couple cosmetic issues I'll fix with paint and shelf liner. ... show more
