  • Definitely saved my life.
I was wearing this in an accident in October 2018. I was going close to 20mph when it happened, I ended up on the ground sliding towards the side of a van. I took the impact with my face essentially. The entire front of it disintegrated, and it cracked all the way across the the top, but I'm still here today because of it. Didn't help much with my leg going under the tire. ... show more

  • Reasonable Price and Medium Quality
I am using this Helmet from the last one month. It is DOT approved and good for low budget helmets. The size is good and it fits very well on your head. It has a nice look but, the only issue what I think is the SAFETY. The manufacturer used the less foam in this model so, this is not very comfortable too. ... show more

  • I can't really directly compare it to my first helmet as that helmet was ECE certified and obviously not a cheap $50 helmet but
Size: X-Large Color: Matte White
It's hard to decide how many stars to give this helmet so i'm going with 4. It has a VERY strong toxic plastic smell right out the box. We'll see if that passes over the next couple of days as I unboxed it today. I can't really directly compare it to my first helmet as that helmet was ECE certified and obviously not a cheap $50 helmet but I guess I will still mention that the ECE helmet was a size Medium and it was still a larger more comfortable fit than the XL in this triangle brand. I think that's a significant (if not HUGE) difference that is worth mentioning. Initial impression of comfort is that it is a bit less comfortable in terms of its shape and the chin guard also sits too close to the mouth. Since they don't make any sizes larger than the XL I cannot return it and get a larger size so i'll hold on to it and see if it breaks in at all. I haven't done a ride with it as yet since the bike was in the shop this week but I also feel like it is letting in more noise than the old helmet I bought it to replace. So am I saying that I don't like it? No nothing could be further from the truth. If this helmet was a smidge more comfortable and I would probably say it could easily compete with helmets in the $300 price range. As far as watertight sealing in rain I can't attest to that as yet (plus I avoid riding in rain). I will try both the old one and new one to see if this one really doesn't have a good windseal but holding it in hand right now I do get the impression that the wind visor will not seal well and may create weird annoying whistling noises in use. The dual visor system on this is awesome and the mechanism for deploying and retracting the sun visor is the best design I can imagine possible for a bike helmet. Like I literally dare any other manufacturer to beat it at any price. The best summary I can say is that, a few minor quirks aside, this is a new company trying to develop a $300 helmet and they are offering it for $50 as they work any final issues and fine tune their manufacturing process before bumping the price up accordingly. I am sure if these stay on the market for another 3 years the price will be over $200 especially if they improve the helmets enough to reach ECE certification impact absorption levels. Kudos triangle. Make an XXL and i'll by 10 more of these just for the heck of it. Amazing value for money. ... show more

  • Very solid helmet
I originally bought this helmet for the purpose of being a passenger helmet and was not expecting much out of a $45 helmet. But as a previous reviewer said, I was very impressed with the delivery time, the packaging, it came with a draw string helmet bag that feels like good quality (not cheap and thin as if it will fall apart when you try to put the helmet in it and draw the strings). I wore it once on a ride and it immediately became my daily helmet replacing my HJC. It looks great and matches my bike perfectly. Sizing was pretty spot on. I'm on the edge of a Small and Medium and went with the Small. I only had to wear it a couple times to break it in. I've had the helmet for about a month now and here are my thoughts. Ventilation is decent on this helmet. I'm in Colorado and purchased this at the beginning of fall, but we are still have 90+ days. The drop down visor is great. It comes down perfectly and spots in the right spot just above the bridge of my nose. The mechanism to raise and lower the drop down visor is in a great spot too and is easy to use with gloves on. It has as solid feel and it's not flimsy. I love the location of the mechanism too, it's easy to access without having to feel around for it on the top of the helmet or on the side of the face shield. I was a little worried at first because it's located on the same side and very near where my Sena Bluetooth goes on, but I was able to attach my Sena behind the mechanism and have I no problem accessing either one of them. Speaking of the Sena, the speakers fit great inside the liner. The liner is also easy to remove and place back in. Lastly, this helmet is very light weight I have only two cons for this helmet, however at this price point I'm not taking any stars away due to them. 1, I wish the visor was anti-fog. So far this has only been an issue for me when I ride in the morning with it's below 60degrees. 2, It's loud, even just riding around the streets. If the face shield is closed I don't notice it too much. If I'm playing music, I rarely notice it at all. 3, the chin curtain detaches every time I pull the helmet off, but it takes 5seconds to reattach it. At $45 I'm not going to gripe too loudly about any of these. Overall I love this helmet and would not hesitate to buy another one from this company. I would definitely recommend it. I wouldn't hesitate either to pay more money for a model that had an anti-fog shield. ... show more
