I packed these for an April trip to Iceland( it rained , snowed , sleated , got windy and cold in a matter of seconds during my day trip of the Golden Circle- but these over an additional pair of very warm pants kept me dry with my waterproof parka and gloves. They are not lined. There are slit sides so you can reach into your real pants side pockets . I ordered XXXL and they were perfect going over other pants or leggings. The ankles are gathered and met my hiking boots nicely. They arrived and roll up in a nice pouch / so they could easily fit in a purse or back pack etc. They were at a very good price . ... show more

Got these for bike commuting in the rain. THey seem decently made, and fairly water proof, but are so big in the legs that the extra material flaps around and I'm afraid it will get lodged in my spokes or chain. Really, these are like Hammer rain pants--you could fit two pairs of legs in these. Otherwise, seems fine, and well priced. ... show more

Pants have pocket openings as stated in the description..... however, what they fail to mention, the pocket openings don't have zippers or any other way to close. Therefore, the pants have big open holes that let water in if you're doing anything more than walking in slight drizzle. We got them to go whitewater rafting.... not a good idea. ... show more
