    • It’s a quality genuine part for X-Maxx 6s models only, more specification would solve confusion.
This part seems to be incorrect for people when they try to order a replacement ring gear (either front or rear) for their 8s X-Maxx most of the time. When I ordered this part and found it not working, I called Traxxas about this part when I was fitting it onto my Traxxas X-Maxx 8s and according to them it’s actually supposed to fit the 6s models which are non existent to my knowledge, so if they could specify this info on Amazon that this is for 6s models only that would be great because I had a the same issue with a reviewer who placed it on his truck but locked up the wheels instead. There is NO problem with the part except it is being mislead by being a compatible part for the 8s model. An easy solution to this would be to just specify that this is for 6s models because some people (including me) forget to read the parts manual and just go with search and order. Wish I would have known this was for 6S model Xmaxx before I bought eight of them and rebuilt all the differentials on four of my trucks before realizing they weren’t working properly.. smh
