These are awesome they are Gpm gears and are half the price I ordered 3 sets for my 2 xmaxx and my xrt make sure you use the metal snap ring or you will have problems there are videos on YouTube if you don’t understand how to install these the right way I would definitely buy again if I ever need again carbon steel, very strong gears ... show more

Nice quality. You can install these normally like the stock fears without tearing the truck apart, you just dont use the capturing ring and use shims to shim if you need it. I used 1 shim for mine and now my truck is running buttery smooth with the new geads front and rear.

So these hardened steel gears showed up for my xmaxx. The bag had no instructions or information. I wrongly assumed they installed just like the stock ring and pinion gear. I found out after 10 minutes that was not the case. I now have a 50 dollar set of paper weights because there are no instructions. The xmaxx must be taken completely apart to remove the bearing for the pinion gear which must be installed on the pinion the a tension ring must be installed behind it. This eliminates any abilities to quickly shim the mesh. I recommend a different brand that sticks closer to the stock installation methods. I'd be returning these if they weren't shredded. ... show more

These are legit GPM diffs that sell for way more on their own site and even more on AliExpress. Yes they are harder to install than the stock style but I knew that before ordering these, there is less slop because of this captured pinion method, also it didn’t look or feel like it needed to be shimmed. ... show more
