Does the job, especially if your on the go with no AC plugin. No noise and charges your batteries safely (with high wattage power brick and cord) and to max capacity, easy to plug in and use. Worth the value of your money but if you value your safety most you’ll get a EzPeak charger from traxxas that will charge your batteries much more efficiently and safely, as-well as more options for storage and balance modes. ... show more

    • Works but for how long?
I'm giving this 3 stars only because it does what it says it does - it charges both my Li-Po and Ni-Cad R/C batteries. Having said that, it feels extremely cheap, weighs almost nothing, and does not consistently detect or report the status of whatever battery is connected to it. At first, the status LED didn't illuminate at all - I thought it was DOA until I felt the warmth coming off the battery pack it was charging. The status LED also sometimes fails to indicate that it has finished charging, as well. Overall, it charges my sons' RC batteries like it says it does. But given the ostensibly poor build quality and issues with the status LED, I've no choice to wonder how long it will last. ... show more
